I'm delighted to be the first one to review Turtle Bay on Zomato - I'll consider this a prestigious opportunity. I must have made about one visit a month for 6 months to this restaurant. With each visit, I felt more and more like a regular. And the experiences of each visit have become one big excitement journey! Okay, now onto the details...
The ambience is simple yet functional and welcoming. When looking around, you see the bar (which will normally sit in the centre of the restaurant), the kitchen (you can actually see what the cooks are up to) and some funky light arrangements (looks like construction pipes but they pull it off really well). The waitresses are all very kind and give you their undivided attention.
The food looks great. Simplicity is key in a setting like this and they have nailed it. They even serve some of the dishes in actually pots - the famous one-pots - that make it look like the food came straight from the cooker! Most of the dishes are hot (think somewhere between Indian curries and serious chilliness) so be cautious when ordering. However, that's actually what appeals to me personally because the spiciness gives the dish that extra kick! There's even some extra chilli & bbq sauces on the table (I bought a bottle of Aunt May's Bajan Pepper sauce on my last trip).
In summary, a place well-worth multiple visits, if you're the type who enjoys hot food! Even if you're not a big fan of hot stuff, try it anyway. I took a friend who hated anything hot. At the time it took him ages to finish a one-pot but today he has hotter dishes than I do!

Tara has been a wonderful host. Helpful and kind. She was very welcoming and accommodating
Ellie, our waitress was lovely. We hope to come back soon. Love the food and cocktails here! Only drawback was the chicken roti has changed since the last time we came and I wasn't the biggest fan; I personally preferred the way it was.

The 2’4’1 cocktails is a game changer. Tried the Zombie, Strawberry Daiquiri and the Classic Mojito. Order two cocktails each and you have plenty to mix and match. The food is way beyond delicious. If unsure what to order go for the Curry Goat or the Caribbean Curry Katsu and you won’t be disappointed. Waiting times can be a bit more than you expect but the staff does a great job handling massive crowds. Guaranteed that you’ll leave happy about your meal.
We came for bottomless brunch at turtle bay liverpool Hanover street!, it was our first one, although we’ve been to turtle bay a lot. The staff couldn’t be anymore lovely, always had another cocktail order in before we was finishing our one before. Sophie and Ewan made sure we had a lovely experience! And the food was amazing. Really nice time - accommodated us last minute for brunch after being cancelled at another venue. Would highly recommend as was much nicer than the original venue we intended to visit! Calum was great to us while we were there making sure that we were happy at every stage. Will be back again!
The detail to service and recommendations by Ewan were amazing. Ewan’s recommendations were both on what we didn’t like and also what we didn’t think were to our taste. Would also recommend their favourites which we would also take out order from. Would come again for the service and drinks.
Tory was our server and she was amazing. Really helpful and attentive and so nice. 5* for Tory!!!!!! The food and cocktails were also amazing, had such a fun time and can't wait to come back!
Me and my partner used to be regulars at Turtle Bay before we had the baby this year so it has been a while!
We payed it a visit last night after about a year, and it has improved so much. The service was amazing, Ewan was our server for the evening and we couldn’t fault him. Very knowledgable of all the cocktails and gave us a few recommendations which were amazing. Really friendly and all round a good vibe. Really impressed with the service last night, and obviously the food was delicious as always.

Went for bottomless brunch and it was amazing. Food and cocktails were gorgeous. Our server Calum was so helpful and always made sure we had a drink. 10/10 would recommend
