I popped in feeling rather flustered as I'm so used to having to dash about. I ordered a granola pot and a flat white. The staff are friendly and it came across as a well-run place.
The customers were a mix of ages and backgrounds, and it is obviously a popular place.
The granola was pefect. A good amount of cinnamon and nicely balanced sweetness.
Plus the coffee was great, so I ended up staying for a cappuccino. I normally have a sugar in my coffee, but ended up not having any in my cappuccino as the coffee was vibrant and well-rounded with less of the bitter taste you can get with some coffees.
I'll definitely seek it out the next time I'm in Liverpool.
Good selection on the menu, very friendly staff and fast service. Visited for breakfast and can't fault the food. Fantastic range of breads that I'd happily recommend.
They accept Colu too for those of you who use the local Liverpool pound however the independent Liverpool card is no longer accepted.
Lovely brunch. Unbelievably good home made baking. I had poached eggs with salmon on English muffin (to die for!). I also bought some of their home made bread after tasting their sourdough. It's very good. The staff and owners are really friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic. I recommend booking to avoid disappointment as the place fills up quite quickly. Must be back next time I am in Liverpool
Lovely bakery with amazing food. Lots of vegetarian options, they all seemed delicious. The soup of the day and the veggie scotch eggs were above my expectations! Definitely worths the try!
We ordered some custom bread for an evening do. It was awesome!!
Good tea, great coffee and fantastic freshly baked bread. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable.
After the previous day's disappointment at finding the place closed, we were delighted at finding it open again for breakfast. Right near the top of our list of places to brunch whilst in Liverpool.
Excellent selection of brunches, bread and coffees. The Sunday roasts look sumptuous.
Delicious! I've eaten breakfast and tea here. Both were wonderful. I've also been back since to get some of their freshly baked bread which is amazing. The coffee is very good, the wine list is excellent (supposedly the owner travels around small independent vineyards sourcing unique wines for the restaurant), and the menu is full of delicious seasonal plates to try. I'll be coming back again.
Fantastic baked goods and quality food. For bread they can't be beaten, the sourdough is amazing. Highly recommend trying a bread platter, it's only a few quid and comes with gorgeous pesto, balsamic and oil.
Downside: it can get pretty pricey. Understandable, I guess, but definitely not a place for a cheap quick lunch.
