From the moment you step into The Secret Place you are welcomed into a warm, friendly environment. The service from the waitress to the chef were exemplary. Beautiful food served with a smile. A real gem amongst Liverpools hospitality sector. A seemingly normal building from the outside but on the inside is the secret. Opening into an atrium style dining room with a bar it almost gives a tardis like feel. Spacious, warm, friendly a great place for anyone and everyone. Wide variety of authentic Italian meals complimented with a good selection of drinks.
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING !!!!!!! I think this is one of the best Italians in Liverpool. We came here for Valentine's day and had a set menus which was very high standard but the second visit.... Wow we got to choose from the main menu, wow the food is exploding with flavours !!! 🤯💥, You have to try this place !!!!! 🇮🇹
Cute little restaurant and staff are very friendly. The starters were good however, the seabass main lacked flavour and the portion was extremely small. Overall it was ok
Lively little hidden gem of a restaurant on smithdown road family owned and run, food is so nice a little on the expensive side for where it is but the steak I got was amazing , cooked med-rare and was perfect just melted in my mouth. Cheesy garlic bread was amazing too and also the king prawn pasta was delicious.
Will definitely be coming back!
Beautiful place inside don't let the outside fool you, it's massive. Staff are lovely can't do enough for you. We shared pizzas garlic bread and calamari all gorgeous. Can't wait to try mussels next time. 10.95 pasta or pizza with a drink 12-5 is a good deal
First time eating here since the beginning of Covid.
The food is every bit as delicious, great service and a lovely atmosphere. It deserves to be much busier.
We'll be back! 😊
Went there quite by accident today, needing a quiet place for a couple of hours. Ended up really enjoying my time. It's a lovely little place and much, much nicer than you'd expect based on the outside. I especially loved those little private cubbies they have in the front.
Well, this is, a wonderful surprise, you almost walk past, as its, looks, small, but once isude it opens up to a converted barn, resturant and bar, lots, of daylight, lovly decor and the food is top class, on a par if not better then many established Italin resturant, , well worth a vist, price very reasonable, or pop in for coffe, or a few drink and a chat,, one to visit and make it regular if your on the area,, smithdown Road , Sefton, park and mossley Hill.
My husband and I went for our 26th Wedding Anniversary and everything was great, especially Becca who served us, thank you!
It's just opened, (it was called "The Barn)!!
All I need to say about this new restaurant is,
it's very clean, staff are very friendly, nothing is to much trouble and the food is "Excellent"!!!!
"Very Highly Recommended"
