Lovely food at a good price. Portions are generous. Normally, we order a naan each, but we should have shared one between us. Music a little loud at points, and difficult to chat quietly as the restaurant is noisy when busy due to the lay out. Service a little over attentive, but conversely a bit slow at points.

Great time here last night - would recommend. Only down side was when they tried to serve me a dessert that was completely frozen! Good wine selection too!

The food is good. This is the closest it gets to indian food in Liverpool. I had butter chicken, a little too sweet. The nan was good. Tandoori chicken was great. Paneer tikka was hard but tasted good too. In all it is a good place. A little on the expensive sides and the portions are small. The paneer tikka had 2 cubes of paneer. The decor is nice and they play Indian music.

Barton Rouge is a real gem of a restaurant. It's location and interior make you feel like you're going to have to mortgage your house to pay for the meal but it's excellent food for a reasonable price. Staff are efficient but not overbearing and the menu has some real gems along with the classics you expect from a curry house. Food is rich and cooked to perfection. A must visit if you're into your Indian cuisine.

Really enjoyed our visit. Staff were friendly and the food was great. Generous portions and tasted lovely. Would definitely recommend. They also have the option to book a table online - may be useful for busier times. Reasonably priced, 2 drinks each, poppadoms, 2 curry's, rice and 2 naans for £51.

Super SUPER impressed. We love our Indian food and this was easily up there with the best we’ve ever had. Food was delicious, so flavoursome and there wasn’t a layer of ghee on the top of every dish. I had lamb shank and it was incredible. If I could give this restaurant 6 stars I would all day long.

It was an amazing experience. Clean, delicious food and great presentation. It reminds me of London Indian restaurant. Highly recommend to anyone. We ordered crispy prawns , onion Bahaji as starters. For the main chicken biryani , butter chicken and plain nan.
