Had no food. Loved the decor and atmosphere, although it had been decorated and in my opinion esthetically from the outside went from very traditional and classy looking to a bit cheap and nasty complete with signs advertising shots and cheap cocktails, this didn't spoil my experience. Joined some friends for a quiz night during the week. The pub is really nice, and we enjoyed some lovely cocktails! Plenty of TV screens showing football. Nice atmosphere in the pub, made better by the great MC hosting the quiz! Bonus that our little team won the quiz and a bar tab!

Nice little pub , they do sell food eg.. burger and a pint for £10 , we never ate , just had a drink
Very good Liverpool pub about 10 minutes walk from Lime Street Station. 5 cask beers on handpump when I visited including a stout. A few tables outside.
The pub has an interesting history as Kirkland's Bakery and its name comes from their slogan 'no flies in the loaf'.
We always come here for a drink before heading to the Philharmonic Hall (their bar prices are astronomical!). Really nice pub. The staff are always lovely and polite. A nice start to our evening out!
Quiet tonight but good service and range of beers
Good atmosphere on Saturday afternoons during live sports events. Deals on cocktails and good range of ales. Didn't have any food.
Great spacious bar. Lots of seating on different levels on ground floor. Trendy bar. Good range of lagers, craft lagers/beers and top shelf spirits.

Just returned after 10+ years and found it has had a refurb - even smells new. Beers selection great but sad to see the old design gone, but I guess it’s moving with the times and attracting younger customers. The long bar is still there and also sports available on multiple tv screens. Food prici
Busy pub with great choice of hand pumps. However a very load quiz was underway and it made conversation difficult. View down a side street of the cathedral form the front windows.
Beautiful pub with a cracking selection of beers on offer. The building is impressive inside and out. Staff were pleasant and friendly and prices were about average. I'll definitely visit again.

Lovely name and excellent beer, the bar staff were knowledgeable and there were games to play at your table, give this place a go but the toilets let it down
