Recently had a birthday lunch here, and food was great with a friendly buzz
Brilliant. Been here quite a few times now, 1st time to leave a comment.
Everytime it has been great, food hot and delicious, staff great (attentive, but leave you alone unless you catch their eye).
Lovely little romantic place for 2 (if you want).
Also great for families (we have done both).
Alls I can say is "try it, You will not be dissapointed.
Couldn't fault anything with this restaurant ....... You just have to try it
Lovely restaurant the food was fantastic, staff helpful and polite. Will definitely be going again soon
Pierre is the winner of the Bistro Battle. The other staff were really pleasant in there, and it just goes to show that this old dog doesn't need to be taught new tricks. On the other hand, this bistro should not grow into a nasty chain, as its good reputation will be diluted thanks to Franc and its broken bogs. Bon appetite!
Busy at wednesdays when they have their two course deal with wine. Reserve your table. Lovely ambience and atmosphere. Very kind and professional waiters. Our choices of onion soup, goat cheese balls, sea brass and moules frites were all excellent and with healthy portions. Next time we come back from Norway we will definitly eat here.
3 of us walked in without reservation on a Sunday evening and got a table.
Food was tasty and good in portion but didn’t quite hit the spot. Many dishes ran out so we were left with limited options for dinner.
Service was very good, prompt and attentive, they were always on the feet.
Interesting deco but was noisy from the pubs downstairs.
What a lovely restaurant in the heart of the Cavern Quarter. The ambience is really nice and unique in comparison to other places in Liverpool. A variety of food is given that fits to every taste you could ask a French gastronomy for. It was delicious and the waiters were always kind and attentive. Rounded off by the background music, this restaurant is worth a visit for sure!
Really good, reasonably priced food, friendly and helpful staff, great atmosphere too. Me and my husband always enjoy our meals at Bistro Pierre. Their tomato soup is the best I've ever tasted, I can highly recommend it.
We had a great Dinner experience. We started with some onion soup, then some beef bourginion all with some bread, cabernet sauvignon wine and finished with some delicious cheese. We will be going again soon as everything was delicious, price was perfect and staff extremely friendly. Looking forward to trying some new dishes there!
Had a lovely meal with a friend who I hadn't seen for 45 years! Restaurant was very busy and we had to wait a long time before courses. The main course arrived but unfortunately wasn't hot so we had to send it back to the kitchen. Joe was most polite and friendly and rectified this. The good when returned was lovely. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant and we enjoyed ourselves!
Very good French food with Gluten-free options. Book a table because it's very popular. High recommendation.
First time in almost 20 years we've eaten here. Unlike some of the partner Bistro X restaurants this offered a good range of courses.
Visited 24/8/2023.
Nice friendly service and relaxing atmosphere. Good to see that they are now part of the Tastecard scheme, making what is already excellent value even better.
Starter - Calamari
Really nice starter, squid was cooked to perfection, just lacking the crunch a little bernaise sauce delicious
Main - Fillet de beof
Pictures speak a thousand words.
Very delicious
Staff - Emma
Very attentive and patient, not too many in tonight, 8 people.
Ambience:
Just spoiled slightly with the next doors pub, Karaoke.
Never the less a great venue
Nice and intimate
Lovely rather hidden gem of a french restaurant in the heart of Liverpool. Good prix fixe and a la carte menus. Delicious well presented food, atmosphere relaxed and authentic. Many great offers early evening weekend and midweek. Staff friendly and accommodating to special requests reasonable prices (please note: Disabled access might pose a problem for some as the entryway is a steep flight of stairs)
My God. What moment. What an unforgettable atmosphere. This restaurant is a true culinary gem that delights the taste buds with every bite. The elegance of the flavors and the servers, the freshness of the ingredients and the refinement of the dishes make this establishment a must for lovers of French gastronomy. The service (especially from the masterful hand of Alexie and Joe - even if scouse) is impeccable and the warm atmosphere add a magical touch to this exceptional culinary experience. A symphony of delights that will delight the palates and hearts of the most demanding.
A beautiful restaurant tucked away down a quiet side street, serving delicious French food and great service. We ate lunch here today and opted for the 3 course special. Everything was cooked to perfection in a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be back for more!
Food was well seasoned, good value for money had the three course deal. Nice decor. Unfortunately we had a the baby in the pram and the restaurant does not have a lift or ramp. So had to carry the pram up. Also no changing facilities for the baby.
First time visit having tended to visit it's sister restaurant Bistro Franc on Hanover Street.
Went at lunchtime on a Saturday and whilst it wasn't that busy, it still had a quaint and nice vibe about it.
Had the set menu and the dessert was fantastic in particular.
Excellent food. I had the veggie and the Wellington was huge! Wine was superb, best I've had out for a good while especially for the price. Service was excellent. Knowledgeable waiter who was really helpful.
Been here many times. Great service, great food and such a great price. Highly recommend. Had the pate and the pan fried chicken. Cooked to perfection and well presented. Will visit again soon.
Went there yesterday. Weds is wine and dine after 4.30. Two courses and a bottle of wine per person for £22. I had the roquefort salad with walnuts and tomato and mum had king prawns. For main i had beef stew with red wine which was nice but a bit rich. Mum had the chicken supreme in creamy sauce. Didn't have a dessert. Think you can have main and dessert for the two courses. Portions were large enough. The white wine a savignon was lovely and crisp. The waitress Natalia was lovely and very friendly.
A wonderful place to eat, food amazing, service outstanding, couldn't do enough! Will be going back again.
