The perfect Sunday roast. Visited at 4:15pm on a Sunday. Warmly greeted by staff. Food arrived quickly and was FANTASTIC! Not stingy on the gravy, beautiful roast potatoes and the side vegetable was gorgeous. Portions sizes are just right. 3 very clean plates. Would highly recommend and will most certainly be returning.

Best food and service I’ve received in a long time. The most attention, knowledge, and understanding of allergies/dietary restrictions, every safe and traceable. What was just as impressive was how genuinely friendly and welcoming everyone was about the allergies, super lovely people and good honest cooking elevated to a restaurant level. Pure nourishment but in a special manner

I stayed in the restaurant for a big part of the day (from 9.00am) while waiting for my car being serviced nearby (Nissan car dealer).
I could work remotely from there after having a table next to a mains socket.
I had a tasty mocha among a nice selection of hot/cold drinks and enjoyed a delicious grilled chicken sandwich (including spinach, nicely seasoned salad and home made fries). The bread had a nice crispy crust with soft interior. That was lovely.
Lunch time was very busy.
It looks very good for anyone with or without children.
Opportunity for improvement:
* I felt "pressured" to order my lunch in a not very nice way by one of the staff - I did not really enjoy that moment though as I felt that I could have been asked in a much nicer way.
* The format of the lunch menu "cards" (including flying papers) were not as fancy and sophisticated as the food.
* The menu papers stayed on my table. I would have loved them to be removed after I ordered.

COVID: Track and trace done. No screens in place to limit spread. All customers however advised on masks and had to remain seated.
Service: Staff really attentive and friendly.
Food: The food was full of flavour. Served within a good time frame (not lighting fast but you don't expect that with such fresh food).
Overall: I must come back and try the Seabass! The food was excellent and want to go through the menu! We will be back!

Great local restaurant and deli.
The delicatessen is amazing. Such a wide variety of stuff.
The restaurant is great too, never had a bag meal here.
Great vegetarian selection, and a good bar and coffee selection.
Really friendly and helpful team.

Nice food. A lot of it local. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very popular so I would book before you go or be prepared to wait. Also has a great deli shop with butchers counter, cheeses, breads, cakes, olives etc.

Had a lovely meal here whilst staying at the Travel lodge next door. Set menu £25 for 2 courses.
Breakfast only starts at 9 am which is a bit late
MY UPLOADS
In a franchised world, it's a shame there is not a lot more places like this hidden gem.
A foodhall, butcher & eatery, which is an understatement.
Ok let's start with the foodhall...
It reminds me of a French market, but nestled away in Liverpool.
If you are a 'continental home cook' this place is for you!
It has a strong focus on high end quality, mixed in with lots of organic and fair trade / local produce.
The butchers (edge &sons) are part of the foodhall so vegans / veggies beware.
The venue:
It is not much to look at from outside, tucked around the back of a Travel Lodge, it took my sat nav to find the place, hence I passed it lots over the years.
But it has plenty of free car parking.
Inside it is tastefully crammed in. But the dinning area has plenty of space.
The eatery is nicely understated, others would call it a restaurant.
Interestingly it's a chalk wall menu, so ever changing. To me this is a great sign of confidence.
Staff were busy, attentive and helpful.
Healthy drinks menu which should satisfy most.
Food was good. Tasted great.
All in all will come again

Marvellous restaurant by Brunswick Docks in Liverpool. There's an extensive menu to satisfy every taste. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Good free carpark and beside a Travelodge.

After an impressive visit at Delifonseca‘s café bar on Stanley Street, my husband Paulo and I decided to pop into Delifonseca’s Dockside location for lunch and a spot of shopping on our way out of Liverpool. It is housed in a colourful and functional building on Brunswick Quay with the added advantage of ample free parking.

Food enthusiastic people.
Lots of daily specials apart from the menu,
Tahini dip really good,
Reasonable prices, seems high at first.
OK depending on the quality, service and demand in town.

Despite only living a mile away and driving past it most days it’s been a long while since I last dined at Delifonseca Dockside. Since it winning the readers restaurant of the year in the Good Food Guide 2014 I always had a mental note to return, we finanlly had that chance over the Christmas break. The main dishes and desserts are chalked up on massive blackboards in the dining room. Mrs Nom chose the duck a l’orange whilst I stuck to the lunch time menu and went for the Po’ Boy sandwich. The duck come with a rich pomme boulangere and earthy roasted beetroot. The orange sauce however lacked flavour and Mrs Nom would have preferred it to be more orangey. The Po’ Boy is one of the signature dishes of the restaurant, a New Orleans classic. A hot baguette filled with slow roasted beef and roasted juices, with lettuce, tomato and chunky chips. For a quick lunch the Po’ Boy is ideal, the beef was moist and tender and the portion was more than adequate. The thick chips reminded of chippy ch

In town early, I opted for the hearty Docker’s Breakfast: two Broughs (who operate an onside butchery) free range pork sausages, two rashers of Broughs free range back bacon, two free range eggs (perfectly poached), mushrooms, tomato, sautéed potatoes & toast – everything on the plate was high quality and well cooked.
