Just had a 3 course meal. Was fantastic, cater for all my needs gluten free etc. The best gluten free garlic bread ever! All home made. Really healthy options and so cheap! Good service, will return. Cake & ice cream is divine x

We got straight off the train and went here for tea and cake thanks to reviews on Happy Cow. It was so good that we went back for lunch, and would have gone back for a third meal if we'd had time! The food is so tasty, generous portions and fantastic value. The atmosphere is laid back and everyone is friendly but also relaxed. Plenty of vegan options. Love it!

Really nice cafe with a good atmosphere. The cafe is up stairs. We had the pancakes which were absolutely delicious and had some berries inside them. The vanilla milkshake is very smooth and it came with vegan cream. There is a counter where they keep jugs of water that you can go up and help yourself to when you want it. I thought the designs on the chairs were cool too. Also very budget friendly. The staff are really nice and they all have cool outfits. Will definitely come back.

I was looking for somewhere new to try which met my dietary requirements and I was not disappointed. The food is very good value for money with plenty to choose from. I had pancakes but needed help to finish them! I would definitely recommend. For those with limited mobility be advised you need to climb quite a few stairs

The Egg Vegetarian Cafe in Liverpool is a delightful hidden gem. Housed in a lovely old building, it offers a pleasant and airy atmosphere. Their lasagna is simply amazing, bursting with flavors. The staff are friendly, creating a welcoming environment. It's the perfect place to unwind, enjoy delicious food, and soak in the charm of its historic surroundings.

I found this place completely at random while visiting Liverpool for the Beatles Week. I had to double check outside since it looks like the entrance to a residential building. But at the top you emerge onto a cool, open restaurant. Everything is vegetarian, and vegan is easy. Staff was super friendly. Food was tasty. Recommended and I would definitely go again.

This place has been in my life for such a long time. It's been a favourite of mine for around 20 years now. So happy it's still going and still as beautiful as it was all those years ago. Thanks for being awesome 💚

I visited at lunchtime as I hadn't been able to eat at home. I was surprised by how much I felt that I had missed this venue when I walked in. Used to ordering from the counter I was taken aback to find myself directed to a table and informed that someone would take my order shortly. This gave the space a much different vibe which I find to be fitting for the space. A glass of water was brought to my table along with the menu and I was told someone will be back shortly to take my order. I was already feeling very welcome once again. I opted for three courses which is anything off the menu, the value of your main and add six pound to it. It makes for a very simple pricing structure. I had curried parsnip soup for starter, sausage and mushroom pie with lots of salad for main and banana cake for dessert. Each course was the perfect size and I was left requiring only a snack for my dinner that evening. The soup came with garlic bread and was perfectly spiced. The pie contained, mushroom, carrot, cauliflower and a tasty gravy. The banana cake was tasty as always. My one criticism is that the cakes have never changed in the many years that I have been eating there. Whilst the banana cake is very tasty, it is the only one they have which is vegan although there are lots of other great looking cakes that they sell. Let's talk about money. It cost me £15.50 for a three course meal including a drink. The costs vary depending upon what you order but if you are going for three courses like I do, expect to pay between £13.50 and £16.00 pound which will obviously increase depending on when you view this review.

Cozy cafe, friendly staff, best vegetarian and vegan food around. All nicely presented and delicious. Breakfast served late too! Been coming here for years and I'm not even veggie. Definitely recommend for some food while out shopping

Nice Vegetarian food in an interesting Café up two flights of old creeky stairs in a terraced house type place . Bit confusing when we bumped into another customer at the top of the stairs as the doors were shut & looked very much closed, It wasn't but put a sign on the door please 😀 Funky styled Cafe with a mezzanine floor & a bit of a 60s vibe . Friendly enough staff but as it was early afternoon some food options had sold out. Nice food maybe nothing too groundbreaking but tasty & a good price. 👍🏻 Lovely cooked

Everything about this place is fantastic. The food selection, the pricing, the serving sizes, the staff, the atmosphere. Highly recommended for vegetarians, vegans and non-vegetarians. Breakfast, lunch or dinner. Just go! 18/03 Just visited again with my parents. The cheese on toast is still the best!
