I had a delicious vegan chili topped with cheeze, with half rice and half cheezy nachos. Lovely airy, relaxing environment with long tables. Just off Bold Street in a grade II listed Victorian warehouse building. The menu might look basic but the food looks better than you think it will. Will be going back. 💚

Liverpool is always a great place to visit. I thought I would try The Egg after reading an article on a newspaper website. I ordered a vegan cooked breakfast and was not disappointed. It was probably the best vegan breakfast I have ever eaten. The scrambled tofu was absolutely delicious. It was just a fantastic breakfast. I liked the decor and enjoyed the music that was playing. I would highly recommend eating here and I look forward to visiting again.

One of the best little Sunday brunch locations I've been to in months. Unpretentious but absolutely delicious vegan food, pancakes were outstanding, vegan cooked breakfast was amazing. Friendly service, great atmosphere, rustic but still comfortable. Would absolutely come back here again:)

Visiting from Glasgow a really great find. They cater for people with allergies and gluten issues they will modify ingredients for you and they have a large and varied menu feeindly staff and the place has a really nice feel to it. Will be going back while we are here. After another visit I really cannot recommend this cafe enough. They bent over backwards to accommodate my allergies. The staff were very friendly and happy and the portion sizes are excellent. Thank you very much for excellent service.

First time visit from this fussy Irish Vegan and so HAPPY I did. Ordered the full English Vegan fry up and it was plentiful and delicious and comes with a choice of tea, coffee or juice, I grabbed the coffee. The staff are so friendly and when I asked was the butter Vegan the chef came out and said yes and reassuringly told me that all vegan meals are 100% vegan, and such a good vibe in this cafe DEFINITELY check it out if in Liverpool.

I visited at lunchtime as I hadn't been able to eat at home. I was surprised by how much I felt that I had missed this venue when I walked in. Used to ordering from the counter I was taken aback to find myself directed to a table and informed that someone would take my order shortly. This gave the space a much different vibe which I find to be fitting for the space. A glass of water was brought to my table along with the menu and I was told someone will be back shortly to take my order. I was already feeling very welcome once again. I opted for three courses which is anything off the menu, the value of your main and add six pound to it. It makes for a very simple pricing structure. I had curried parsnip soup for starter, sausage and mushroom pie with lots of salad for main and banana cake for dessert. Each course was the perfect size and I was left requiring only a snack for my dinner that evening. The soup came with garlic bread and was perfectly spiced. The pie contained, mushroom, carrot, cauliflower and a tasty gravy. The banana cake was tasty as always. My one criticism is that the cakes have never changed in the many years that I have been eating there. Whilst the banana cake is very tasty, it is the only one they have which is vegan although there are lots of other great looking cakes that they sell. Let's talk about money. It cost me £15.50 for a three course meal including a drink. The costs vary depending upon what you order but if you are going for three courses like I do, expect to pay between £13.50 and £16.00 pound which will obviously increase depending on when you view this review.

Really nice cafe with a good atmosphere. The cafe is up stairs. We had the pancakes which were absolutely delicious and had some berries inside them. The vanilla milkshake is very smooth and it came with vegan cream. There is a counter where they keep jugs of water that you can go up and help yourself to when you want it. I thought the designs on the chairs were cool too. Also very budget friendly. The staff are really nice and they all have cool outfits. Will definitely come back.

I was looking for somewhere new to try which met my dietary requirements and I was not disappointed. The food is very good value for money with plenty to choose from. I had pancakes but needed help to finish them! I would definitely recommend. For those with limited mobility be advised you need to climb quite a few stairs
