When to Gusto's on Saturday 24/02/2018,and i have to say what a great place it is.upon arrival, without any delay we were shown to our table and almost straight away we had been offerd drinks. In no time at all the waiter was taking our order and we were eating our meal very soon afterwards, now considering the restaurant was very busy at the time,7.30 pm we found this service wonderful.the food was delicious and the waiting staff were excellent.we would most certainly reccomend this restaurant to local people and to visitors to the city.
My wife and I visited Gusto on the Saturday of the Grand National and a big football match (we’re Americans, so I can’t tell you who played aside from Liverpool). Obviously, it was crowded but our server came promptly and we ordered two glasses of wine, two starters, and a pizza to share. The bruschetta starter was good, not great, and the garlic mushrooms were outstanding. The pizza arrived and was cooked perfectly. I am always a bit wary of restaurants when the are crowded, but our experience was wholly positive. Our waitress was very sweet and smiling the whole way through.
A buzzing, smart but informal waterfront Italian dining hall in the beautifully restored Albert Dock. Could have been in London. A limited but perfectly adequate selection of pizza, pasta, steaks and meats/fish. Enough veggie options too. Perfect for date night, couples night or just a family outing. Child-friendly too.
Had been gusto for my friend birthday party. Really had good meal and drinks 🍷.. started with chips (ever had such a delicious freshly cooked) and wine later later the main dish arrived.. my friend had spaghetti and I had pasta.. excellent atmosphere, great ambiance and friendly staffs..
Love it !!!
Adorei a localização, a decoração, o espaço em si.
A comida !!!
A simpática dos empregados
Espaço a visitar em Liverpool
Excellent, good food, knowledge staff who are happy to help with all selections, great service and very reasonable prices. Good selection of wine and cocktails with house specials well worth trying.
Great food well presented and very tasty. Kitchen staff exemplary. Front of restaurant staff and waitress too busy chatting about new shoes. Customer should be first. Always.
Lovely restaurant, venue and atmosphere. Great food, wine and especially service.
I love it here! Always come when I am in Liverpool! Friendly staff quick service and gr8 food! Need I say more!
Went for lunch. Excellent service & outstanding food. Prawns were to die for & pasta was fresh & full of flavour!
Home smoked duck tossed in tagliatelle with wild mushrooms, asparagus and truffle oil. Delicious!
Have to say we went for a meal today and what a meal we got, food not only quality but cooked to perfection, staff very helpful and service spot on, personally the chefs stole the show we had Calamari/Scallops followed by sea bass fillets (2 of them). And genuinely I don't eat fish skin (makes me heave) but the sea bass was crispy and I cleared the plate. Whatever you do KEEP THE CHEFS, they will earn you the reputation you deserve. Thank you everyone.
Simply excellent, had a wonderful meal and thoroughly enjoyed it. The lasagna was the best I have eaten in a long time.
It was busy but the staff were excellent. Highly recommended.
OK.
Where to start.
Pre-dinner drinks out on the terrace, overlooking the dock was very nice.
(sorry. Didn't get the name of our 'barman' who was brilliant)
Atmosphere in the restaurant was great. Not quiet, but you really don't want that in a full restaurant where people are enjoying thrmselves.
The table service (sure our guy was George) was second to none.
Efficient but with a bit of fun (probably because - I think - he was Irish! 😂)
The menu was great. The wine list extensive.
(a combination as it should be!)
We had the Antipasti to share as a starter.
Brilliant.
Cannot fault.
Followed by the Squid ink risotto with scallops, and the Scallop ravioli.
Both were truly amazing.
Primitivo to accompany (one of the best, we've had).
No room for dessert!
Cannot, Cannot, recommend this restaurant enough.
Thanks for a great meal.
We stopped here for a drink outside. The staff were very busy and struggled i think with service outside so i went to the bar and got served straight away which was good. The drinks were lovely.
I would have liked to go back for dinner but didn't get round to it. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for somewhere nice for a drink or evening dining.
Vibey Italian restaurant located down by The Docks! 🇮🇹
The food here’s amazing! The menu is super varied from traditional Italian dishes to Steak experiences! 🍝
Staff were friendly and attentive, although drinks did take a while, but likely due to them being so busy! 🍸
We went on a Sunday, with no booking. The restaurant was very busy. We were told politely we would have to wait 30 minutes for a table but we didn’t mind. We were asked to wait in the bar. Service was very good and welcoming. We had the Gusto sharing roast.
I met a few waiters who recommended the lasagna .I wasn't disappointed. The wife also said it was the best lasagne she had ever tasted .Returned the following for my wife's 60th meal and staff arranged a wee cake for her birthday. Waiting staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough .I could easily eat here every night of the week
A timeless restaurant with classic and flavorful italian dishes. Great for date nights with a beautiful view of the historic Albert Dock.
Very busy restaurant we waited 45 mins for a table as we were keen to eat here. Sat and had a drink while waiting which was really nice. The food was ok definitely not the best pizza or pasta I’ve had.
If you are vegan you MUST try their vegan steak. Unbelievable, on so many levels. Unbelievable!
