Thank you to the lovely staff here for cooking and serving up our Christmas party meal last night. They couldn't do enough for our party of 10 people and the food was gorgeous. One of the nicest Christmas meals I have been for. Would highly recommend!
Friendly staff , lovely food & great little place. Very welcoming and I would highly recommend a visit 😊
Great atmosphere. Cracking live jazz which you can’t find in many places in liverpool. Nice outdoor seating and lots of seating indoors. Food is great too.
Dog friendly too which is a great perk! They provided water and even a sausage for our pooch so 5 stars there.
Great little cosy place to go. Friendly welcoming service. I went on a weekday while having a wander and really wished i had stayed longer. A lot of couples and quiet drinks on a Monday night is never a bad thing.
Very pleased to have found a lovely pub in Liverpool. Service was friendly and food was a good price and tasty (I had the Scouse). Very nice views sitting out, next to a Church. I'll be back.
One pint review (well, two pints this time): nice beer garden in front, two levels for social pub life or just cosy, private time. Downstairs IS for private hiring and they have regular Jazz Club nights.
Friendly staff, beer was excellent, not cheap but that's for the location: busy high streets and top places near, pub is on very quiet off-street.
Came here for dinner. Google Maps doesn’t show the correct location but you’ll find it up the alleyway with outside seating and lights strung up above.
Fantastic little place. We went Saturday night and they had a live jazz band playing but it wasn’t too loud and really added to the ambience of the place.
We both had the Scouse Pie which was amazing! It’s like a beef stew with chunks of potatoes and carrots covered in a flaky pastry crust.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend going here.
We was a party of 16 the communication of the staff was brilliant and very accommodating to our needs. We was able to settle the bill in advance and place a drinks order for wine on the tables which made everything hassle free on the night. Very friendly, great ambiance and amazing food. My new favourite restaurant in Liverpool.
The staff were all very friendly. The atmosphere was good with the present of many locals. We started with the Queen's Liverpool pilsner and a properly poured Guinness. Decided to try their Ma's Classic Scouse (instead of the pie) and added the Cauliflower bites. Both were delicious! A very nice sauce came with the beer batter Cauliflower. Scouse was the best we have had. You have to look for Ma's since it is in a hidden alley but if you walk through the church garden, you will see it.
Went here for work drinks and food. The venue is nice enough but the service was what helped it stand out. The somewhat diligent waiter kept everyone topped up and managed expectations on food timings perfectly with a large group.
The maps didn't accurately show where the restaurant was, as it is located behind the building and the entrance is from the alleyway next to the building. It was a quiet evening, and I was one of the less than 10 customers that night. I ordered a scouse, and it didn't disappoint, although I'd wish it contained a bit more meat in it. The staff was brilliant, very friendly and welcoming. The place was beautifully decorated and the ambiance was just perfect.
The food was so delicious but we went there with our kid, and there is no wheelchair access so no trolley access too!! We had to go in from the window!
