My 3rd visit and each time the food is freshly cooked and delicious! The staff are super polite and helpful. The menu is varied and the portion sizes excellent. The presentation of the food is lovely too. There are vegetarian and vegan options. Great value and you can park right outside too!
Came here for a business/friends get-together with our kids, wow the food was amazing, delicious wine (nothing worse than going somewhere n wine is horrible) lovely atmosphere, delicious food, good wine, fantastic service, would highly recommend xxx
Absolutely loved this place. Family run, freshly cooked, lovely food. Portions are large & they are happy to box up any left overs to take home. I highly recommend a visit. Very good value for money xx

Great venue, and a true example of what makes Crosby and Waterloo so great. Nice food and brilliant surroundings with very attentive staff. A true "local" business that is worthy of all our support.
I will hold hand up and say the Falafel starter wasn't great but the rest was superb (olives, fishcake starter, sunrise special and lamb kebab for mains).
We had the mousakka and Slovakia chicken this was unreal and prawns to start everything was so fresh and tasteful!!! The lady waitor was so friendly and cheerful could not fault this little restaurant what a little gem on st Johns road Waterloo! Xoxoxox thanks for the experience we will definately be back!!! XXX
Food was amazing. Great little restaurant. There was 15 of us and the service was spot on. All the starters came out at once. All the mains too. Everything was fresh and hot. The food is all bought locally too. Definitely gonna go again. 6 stars
Hidden Gem on our doorstep! Husband and I thought we'd give 'Sunrise' a try last night as menu looked so good! So glad we did, so much choice of places to eat in our area but this will be a favourite from now on! Service great, friendly staff, food delicious and wine ice cold and top class. Bill was so reasonable too. Don't usually take time to review but this deserves a mention. Don't hesitate to book and eat, you won't be disappointed.

Little diamond in St John's Road. Food absolutely fantastic, my 8 year old also thoroughly enjoyed hers. Very friendly and welcoming, wonderful atmosphere. Would highly recommend ☺️
I'm here right now. I've had tagliatelle and it was superb. Big portions freshly cooked lovely atmosphere. Will be one of my regular eating places and we'll positioned for a bike ride along the prom on my way home
