Was in Liverpool for a few days this weekend gone, The Liverpool pub is two doors up from the days inn where I stayed, popped in yesterday afternoon on my daughters recommendation, she had been there over the weekend with a lovely bunch of hens from Cork, I loved it right away, very welcoming atmosphere and there were two guys playing music and a great singer too, The crowd were all singing and some dancing, people from all over the world, Karaoke later and very enjoyable, Thanks guys and girls at The Liverpool pub, As Arnie says, I'll Be Back.

Four of us popped in for a drink and decided to stay for food when we saw other people food being served. It was good portions value for money and fast and efficient. Very friendly staff will definitely call again when in Liverpool.

Popped in after shopping with a few minutes to spare before our next train home. 2 hours and 15 trains later . . . Great door staff, great bar staff and a truly excellent atmosphere created by the lady MC and local stars of the show. Two words sum up The Liverpool. Talent and character.

Great food, freshly cooked Sunday Roast. We ordered through just eat which was very unreliable on delivery. This bears no fault to the pub whatsoever and they kept in touch with us regarding updates on our order.

as busy as ever safe fun atmosphere. 1st singer left a bit to be desired.... (second much better thank goodness) and I had to wave at the barman to come over and serve me!, but I'd definitely go back.

Really nice Bar! Watched the Liverpool game there and had a lovely time. Food is mostly homemade and delicious. Prices decent. Only the women's toilett could be renovated a little bit (lock broken on one of three toilets). Overall a lovely stay. Definitely recommended 👍🏼

Well, this review has been a while in coming….I visited the Liverpool Pub in May of 1990! My mom’s cousin and family own it. We are from the US and finally made it for a visit to our family in England. They are lovely people and I am not surprised that they get so many 5 star reviews! I miss all of you! With love Del’s youngest daughter, Jayne

Super pub….. well worth a visit! The beers are tip-top and I have always had a pint of any particular brand which is well-presented and palatable. All the staff are cheerful and friendly - hard to do on a weekend when they’ve been on the feet for hours - nonetheless they make people welcome. The food quality and service are also five-star: place your order, give your table number and it arrives on time and with no fuss. A former sailor’s pub, previously known as the ‘Mona’, the ‘Liverpool’ engages with the city’s booming tourist industry - very forward thinking of them. Of the pub’s atmosphere, well, you could go in at most times and find it very convivial. Any pub, of course, doesn’t have to be packed to be convivial. But unlike a previous Tripadvisor reviewer who downgraded due to not being able to watch his favourite team on the pub’s television, well, the unwritten law of pubs is that you accept whatever game is being shown at the time in favour of others - this said reviewer really should get out more. PS.
