This has been my favourite restaurant in Liverpool city centre for over 20 years.
Food,service and ambience are always perfect.
On 11/05 we took my elderly Aunt for lunch,at her age she prefers her food simply cooked.
The waiting staff could not have been more understanding or helpful in ensuring her meal was perfect for her.
The whole lunch experience was a joy.

Doesn't look my uch from outside, but the minute I entered I was very impressed. The decor manages to create a high end feel while being comfortable and welcoming. The staff are attentive without being intrusive and truly added to the great experience we had dining here. Food was reasonably priced, portions were large and the quality of the food was brilliant. I have to say one of the best restaurants I have ever visited, and a truly a memorable experience. If we come back to Liverpool again I will definitely visit again. Great work guys, you can be proud of the experience you offer

8 of us had dinner here recently.6 adults 2 grandchildren.Everyone really enjoyed the food and all said they would return(thank God I live in Ireland as I was payingš)but seriously we really enjoyed the food and it was well worth the visit.My wife and I will be back in Liverpool soon and we will definitely eat here again.I put up a pic of the bill to give people an idea.But there was a good bit of alcohol on it.My scallops were delicious.Cooked to perfection.

Had a fabulous meal here for my partners birthday. Great service and really nice, relaxed atmosphere. We had a focaccia starter to share, very simple with olive oil, sea salt and rosemary and then a spaghetti carbonara and a seafood spaghetti for mains followed by a meringue cake with berries and quite the tastiest gelato I've ever had, a very nice Italian white wine to accompany, would definitely revisit and recommend. Also the cleanest smartest toilets I've seen, making you feel like you're on the Orient Express.

San Carlo was an excellent choice in the city of Liverpool. It turns out to be a good option because Italian food is one of the best internationally.
The most positive points turn out to be the food that was really good and appetizing, the waiters are attentive and fast.
The most negative points turns out to be the noisy environment that makes it difficult for people to talk to each other even if the bar is at the entrance and the restaurant is more sheltered. Good facilities, modern place and with immense potential.

Oh the food was heavenly, me and my husband celebrated our first anniversary date night with them and believe me the night couldnāt have been better. The staff was super courteous and friendly, the ambience was full of cheer and food was best Italian I have ever had.

Desserts could be made better if they were freshly made (sorry the defrosted deserts are getting out of fashion. FRESH DESSERTS WOULD MAKE THIS A 10/10ā¦ itās at 7/10. For the prices the desserts should be fresh. )
Atmosphere is chill.
What you need for a good conversation with friends, family, DATEā¦ whoever you take.
Itās relaxed enough to engage in conversations without shouting or raising your voice, but loud enough the table next door canāt hear you.
I like it.
Iād go back.
The service is pretty good too.

Food is top , service is another level , Paulin and Giovani made our night unreal, always happy to help with anything and made us feel so comfortable like we been to our friends home. One of the best Italian restaurant chains with commendable consistency across the branches!
Very attentive and pleasant staff despite how bustling it was during our visit.
Will be back to try some other items off the menu.
