We hadn’t been to the Tavern for several years, for no reason really other than there is a lot of choice around there. The burritos and tacos were good and the burgers also tasty . Service was very attentive and it was nice to be repeatedly asked if everything was okay with the food, a good sign of
The Tavern Co is a great place for brunch, with friendly staff, excellent food and fast service. The staff were particularly helpful with allergy requirements and took great care to ensure my food was kept separate from nut contamination. Not many restaurants can boast such consideration for their c
Ordered the heuveos rancheros. I asked if it was scrambled egg to which the waitress replied yes it is, I said that's fine then and ordered that, when it finally arrived it was fried egg on the top (which I can't stand) so that was my meal ruined..... We ordered drinks at the same time as the food 1
Every single time I've come here the service is exceptional. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. I love the staff, the decor, the menu, and the fact that I feel like I'm at home and not in a restaurant. I'm grateful that they pay attention to my disabled son and they ha
Excellent. They were extremely busy and understaffed on our first visit. They explained they would seat us and that there would be a delay. We happily sat and ordered, yes there was a wait for food but the staff worked tirelessly to ensure everyone was kept informed of delay and topped up on drinks.
I have been visiting The Tavern for many years now. Although I still come, I have found the quality of food to have gone down over the past couple of years, even thought the price has increased a lot! The staff are friendly, but I do not think they have enough as you always have to wait a long time
Great start to the day, a group of 11 of us were going to the Chester races and met here for breakfast. All on the one table. Wonderful breakfast, endless coffee or tea, staff were great, cheerful and helpful. Cannot praise the Tavern enough.
Great place for breakfast, brunch, lunch (I've not had dinner here yet). Unlimited tea and coffee is a nice touch. Any other soft drink from the bar feels overpriced, but then again, sugar tax makes it feel like every soft drink is overpriced now. The atmosphere is okay, it depends how you are aroun
Really nice food for good value. Recommend the American burger and ice cream sundae.
Came here for my little sister’s birthday, impeccable service from all staff, food was delicious and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Thank you for looking after us Reece, we will definitely be back!
We just left Leaf opposite due to lack of customer service. We were extremely happy with our evening, I havnt been in years and had a lovely night. James our waiter was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, made us laugh and was very proactive in making our evening Food was great, you get a lot
Phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal place. My wife had been the year prior after her friends hen party and we had to visit as our hotel was literally 10 seconds away. It was quite simply the best breakfast I've ever had! The wife had Eggs Benny, I had steak and eggs and we shared a portion of banoffe
Popped into the Tavern for a brunch with friends. I've visited the Tavern previously many years ago. Booked our table in advance as this eatery gets extremely busy. There was a lively convivial atmosphere during our visit. The waiting staff was very attentive and took our order promptly. The wait
Delicious veggie breakfast, I had it with no beans and it was more than enough. They come round with coffee and tea regularly and keep you topped up which was fab. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.
Lots of choices for breakfast here. Mostly American style pancakes. I opted for the full English and it was delicious. You get free coffee or tea with your breakfast, that gets topped up frequently at your request. Really nice vibe in here and the waiters/waitresses are really friendly. The best bre
Not a bad full English. Fresh orange tasted like white spirit. So avoid that. Triangle toast burns my head out. But I left feeling full. £11.95 for full English is expensive. Ate far better breakfasts for less. Limitless tea an coffee aswell which if you can get it regulary is a winner.
