It is always a pleasure to go to The Tavern Co on a Saturday morning no matter what the weather is like outside.
Plates are generous, breakfast is tasteful, and the staff is wonderful.
My family of 6 had a lovely meal here for my daughters birthday. Couldn't fault the service or the food. Sadly, it wasn't very busy (despite a live singer), which is such a shame when at one time you had to book well in advance to guarantee a table. Nice gesture for her to get a free dessert too. Will definitely be returning here.

The service can be improved but they were all nice. They provide plenty of choices but it could be a bit cheaper. Will definitely come back though to try more because I like the area so I generally recommend it.

The Tavern Co is a great place for brunch, with friendly staff, excellent food and fast service. The staff were particularly helpful with allergy requirements and took great care to ensure my food was kept separate from nut contamination. Not many restaurants can boast such consideration for their customers, but the team at The Tavern Co really delivered.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is also top tier. With stunning decor and pleasant music choices, me and my friends had a great time. The piano inside was also a pleasure to play; it has a really nice sound.
This was the second time I went, and I’m happy to say that it won’t be the last. The portions are generous, the variety is wide and it is good value too. Staff also came around with free coffee and tea! I have nothing to criticise this establishment for and strongly recommend people visit for an unforgettable meal.

We hadn’t been to the Tavern for several years, for no reason really other than there is a lot of choice around there. The burritos and tacos were good and the burgers also tasty . Service was very attentive and it was nice to be repeatedly asked if everything was okay with the food, a good sign of confidence in the product from the restaurant, rather than the hiding staff seen elsewhere when the food is not up to standard. Here though all was good, and Brooklyn Pilsner on draft too. We were there on a rare quiet night so atmosphere not as vibrant as it seems usually .
The friendliness of the staff is a credit to the owner. I ordered baby ribs, and I'm sure the portion I got was a baby dinosaur. They were so tender and full of flavour.
Really nice food for good value. Recommend the American burger and ice cream sundae.
Phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal place. My wife had been the year prior after her friends hen party and we had to visit as our hotel was literally 10 seconds away. It was quite simply the best breakfast I've ever had! The wife had Eggs Benny, I had steak and eggs and we shared a portion of banoffe pancakes! The food was just sensational! The pancakes were to die for, the steak was cooked exactly as I asked and I'm assured the eggs benny were and I quote "on point". Will be using this place again no doubt and I recommend anyone thinking of doing so to just get it done! You will not be disappointed! It's fabulous! 5*!
Popped into the Tavern for a brunch with friends. I've visited the Tavern previously many years ago. Booked our table in advance as this eatery gets extremely busy. There was a lively convivial atmosphere during our visit. The waiting staff was very attentive and took our order promptly. The waiter also offered us 🍵 and ☕ immediately and topped up our cups regularly during our stay. The only concern I have during my visit is the level of noise particularly the music 🎶 I had to talk loudly to be heard over the drone from the music also our order wasn't taken properly so my friends breakfast order wasn't wasn't taken so she had to wait longer before her food arrived although without asking manager gave us a discount off our bill which was very kind. The meal we both had was of a good standard and reasonable price wise too overall we enjoyed our visit and will definitely return again 👍
I have been visiting The Tavern for many years now. Although I still come, I have found the quality of food to have gone down over the past couple of years, even thought the price has increased a lot! The staff are friendly, but I do not think they have enough as you always have to wait a long time to get your order taken, and then for the bill.
I feel as if the restaurant itself could do with a deep clean, it looks dusty.
Can I please point out that although I am writing this, it will still not stop me visiting :)

Ordered the heuveos rancheros. I asked if it was scrambled egg to which the waitress replied yes it is, I said that's fine then and ordered that, when it finally arrived it was fried egg on the top (which I can't stand) so that was my meal ruined..... We ordered drinks at the same time as the food 15 minutes later we asked where the drinks where and the waitress said oh sorry I forgot them and then brought them over, we've tried it now and would probably never go back..
