We go to Liverpool quite often and Maggie May’s cafe is out first point of call. Great value great service by friendly staff.
See you end of March guys for our next breakfast 👌
Never been to Liverpool before, I had an arranged visit this weekend with a friend. On my bucket list was to have a bowl of Scouse, I was not disappointed. The food was extremely well priced and tasty, the premises was well presented and clean and especially the staff were all very, friendly, accommodating and offered a great service. It's well worth a visit.
A lovely place to have affordable home-made food.
My recommendation: steak pie with gravy and new potatoes. Then, chocolate cake, served warm, with an ice-cream ball.
We went while Eurovision week. The first time was so lovely that we went a second time. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Totally recommended if you visit Liverpool. 👍🏻
Very busy traditional cafe in central Liverpool. Famous for Scouse but we went for traditional English breakfast. Left very content. Very friendly place.
Really good place pop in for breakfast we had toast t cakes and pot of tea and coffee then pop in 6 hours later had two bowls of Scouse and two beers spot on really good look like a old fashioned tea room really good service staff friendly nice and clean and same with the toilet definitely be back
Such a wonderful place! It is so peaceful inside when coming right off of Bold Street. Great menu and food and such a lovely atmosphere. It feels more like a cafe on the countryside, rather than in central Liverpool! It would be great with some more gluten-free options though or at least indication of what is gluten-free and what is not :)
Lovely hearty food and great service ☺️
Wonderful food at reasonable prices.Clean toilets and fast service.Friendly staff
I would highly recommend this traditional gem of a cafe in Liverpool city centre. It is one of the few places to offer Scouse which I ate along with two family members
I enjoyed this immensely and was served with three baguette rounds and either red cabbage or beetroot. I've never had these before and had the cabbage with the stew which made it morish. We shared a bowl of chips as a tasty addition.
The cafe does offer other meals like sandwiches and ALL DAY breakfast which is uncommon particularly in London so is ideal if you like it.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. They're Attentive when you need anything else.
Overall I recommend popping in if you fancy light lunches, breakfast or to try the local stew.
One of my favourite breakfast places in town, i got Traditional English breakfast and it was amazing, staff was sweet, would definitely suggest to try it out and in case you are vegetarian, they have options for you too. 🤗
Yorkshire man eating scouse for the first time .... amazing.
I did as I was told and put some HP sauce on it... again amazing and all the better for the red cabbage and beetroot .
Thank you and I'll be returning
Friendly staff, great service and good place for food.
