Maggie May's Cafe Bar - Liverpool - Photo album

We were aimlessly walking along the street searching for local fares and chanced upon Maggie May's. The place brings about a sense of nostalgia and alot of locals walk-in to have their brunch. Food was good, service was great and lots of ticks in our boxes.
A lovely place to have affordable home-made food. My recommendation: steak pie with gravy and new potatoes. Then, chocolate cake, served warm, with an ice-cream ball. We went while Eurovision week. The first time was so lovely that we went a second time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. To
Very busy traditional cafe in central Liverpool. Famous for Scouse but we went for traditional English breakfast. Left very content. Very friendly place.
Nice and quiet place to eat and have a drink Close to local shops and friendly staff and service. Definitely worth a visit

Nice place to try original English cuisine.
We are regular visitors to Liverpool and everytime we go we now try to fit in a visit to maggie Mays cafe and bar. I do the Guinness tours of Liverpool pubs and need a hearty start to the day with a full English breakfast. We now partake in their famous scouse on most visits. We recommend this cafe
A simple, down to earth, slice of Liverpool serving a hearty home cooked authentic scouse. A cheerful and charming local hangout serving generations of regulars for nearly 30 years. Service is warm and folksy. Prices are reasonable. Β£6.95 for a generous plate of scouse paired with beetroot and slice
I would highly recommend this traditional gem of a cafe in Liverpool city centre. It is one of the few places to offer Scouse which I ate along with two family members I enjoyed this immensely and was served with three baguette rounds and either red cabbage or beetroot. I've never had these before
First time been there my mum told me about the place she gos every Saturday. I thought the food was excellent and the way they keep the place clean which you want from a cafe 5 stars bee going back again
Very busy, which is always a good sign and wasn't disappointed. We were seated very quickly, staff although rushed off their feet were really nice and helpful. Food was delicious and reasonably priced
Visited here on the suggestion of a friend. We wanted somewhere not too loud as we j wanted a chat. This is a proper cafe! Breakfasts and lunches, some mains like scouse. Friends had veggie and vegan breakfasts and enjoyed them. I had cheese toastie and chips. Affordable, nothing fancy. Staff effici
Yorkshire man eating scouse for the first time .... amazing. I did as I was told and put some HP sauce on it... again amazing and all the better for the red cabbage and beetroot . Thank you and I'll be returning

Amazing breakfast. Proper bangers and gammon thick bacon. Lovely service very clean and u don't come out smelling of a greasy spoon. Marvellous
A go too if you want good traditional English grub, reasonably priced and great quality the breakfast is unreal
Had a great English breakfast & my wife had the vegetarian breakfast - both very tasty, hot and didn't have to wait to long for it to be served. Great service
Welcoming old school cafe. Pretty standard British cafe menu (that’s not a criticism) located at the top end of Bold Street. Friendly service and decent enough food and coffee.
