Maggie May's Cafe Bar - Liverpool - Photo album

A lovely place to have affordable home-made food. My recommendation: steak pie with gravy and new potatoes. Then, chocolate cake, served warm, with an ice-cream ball. We went while Eurovision week. The first time was so lovely that we went a second time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. To
Very busy traditional cafe in central Liverpool. Famous for Scouse but we went for traditional English breakfast. Left very content. Very friendly place.
Really good place pop in for breakfast we had toast t cakes and pot of tea and coffee then pop in 6 hours later had two bowls of Scouse and two beers spot on really good look like a old fashioned tea room really good service staff friendly nice and clean and same with the toilet definitely be back
Such a wonderful place! It is so peaceful inside when coming right off of Bold Street. Great menu and food and such a lovely atmosphere. It feels more like a cafe on the countryside, rather than in central Liverpool! It would be great with some more gluten-free options though or at least indication
Lovely hearty food and great service ☺️
Wonderful food at reasonable prices.Clean toilets and fast service.Friendly staff
I would highly recommend this traditional gem of a cafe in Liverpool city centre. It is one of the few places to offer Scouse which I ate along with two family members I enjoyed this immensely and was served with three baguette rounds and either red cabbage or beetroot. I've never had these before
One of my favourite breakfast places in town, i got Traditional English breakfast and it was amazing, staff was sweet, would definitely suggest to try it out and in case you are vegetarian, they have options for you too. 🤗
Yorkshire man eating scouse for the first time .... amazing. I did as I was told and put some HP sauce on it... again amazing and all the better for the red cabbage and beetroot . Thank you and I'll be returning
Friendly staff, great service and good place for food.
A simple, down to earth, slice of Liverpool serving a hearty home cooked authentic scouse. A cheerful and charming local hangout serving generations of regulars for nearly 30 years. Service is warm and folksy. Prices are reasonable. £6.95 for a generous plate of scouse paired with beetroot and slice
We ate here about an hour before closing, so not many people in there But saying that we received a really friendly reception and our order was dealt with using the same friendly attitude. The food was really good and hot which seems harder to get nowadays. Will definately visit here again
Scrumptious traditional breakfast and very well priced. Better than some of the fancier places I've been on this trip. Lovely atmosphere with quick service, and they serve breakfast all day so you can sleep in and pop by for brunch.
It was quick service and delicious. Some list said Maggoe May's has some of the best Scouse in town, and I don't have anything to compare it too, but it was delicious. All 3 of us ate it all.
Boss food..... Home cooked... Reminds me of home... what's not to like... Traditional.... Lost my dad in feburay... So it's good to come and have a breakie.. And think of him..... He would have loved it...
Great food, super clean place and very friendly staff.
Popped in as i saw sign outside saying homemade Scouse, looked and tasted exactly how my dear old mum used to make. Very friendly staff, lovey atmosphere. A gem of a place!
Amazing breakfast. Proper bangers and gammon thick bacon. Lovely service very clean and u don't come out smelling of a greasy spoon. Marvellous
