The Little Shoe

After a few months away from visiting we booked a brunch at our favourite spot in Liverpool and we were not disappointed. The breakfast was amazing, the quality of the ingredients really showed. Fantastic coffee and then treated ourselves to some homemade doughnuts and buns, which were delicious. I love the new decor, it really makes it welcoming, it was lovely to relax and chill out for a while with some good quality food. I was also very happy to see covid measures in place and it was obviously very clean. We shall be back soon.... I didn't get to try the gingerbread or your new cocktails :-)

Lovely service and great coffee and food! We were there on a Sunday at 11 am for breakfast. We were in three and the service was fantastic. Charlotte was attending us and she was very kind and lovely to chat with her about the city! We ordered some coffees but also a nice breakfast! Taste was great and prices were excellent. It is located in the main lane where are a lot of options for food, but I highly recommend this place. We were here just after the coronavirus crisis and they were taking a lot of policies on place . My absolute favourite place in the Bold Street quarter of Liverpool. I had been here when it was the East Avenue Bakery, and was relieved to find that it is under the same ownership. Always a fantastic breakfast (the eggs benedict is highly recommended) and a great friendly atmosphere where I can work on my laptop. Their new evening menu is also top top quality - and I am promising to treat myself to one of their monthly (legendary) slow-cooked sundays in the near future!
