Called in this afternoon for a late lunch. Loved this independent Italian bistro. Really warm welcome and great service. Loads of choice on the menu. My daughter ordered the seafood pasta and I had the pepperoni pizza. Both were generous portions. Can honestly say it’s one of the best pizzas I’ve had. Great value for money and quality food. Would highly recommend.

Best Italian food in the UK. OMG, it is fantastic. I think the taste is quite similar than the food that I tried in Rome. And Natalia is the best waitress, very smiley and helpful ❤️
I reserved a table, arrived at the indicated hour, we were very nice and warmly received, sensational service that does everything to please customers. The chefs are doing everything to please the customers' palate and this with a sensational result. So far, the only Italian Restaurant where I felt like in Italy. Snacks, main dishes and desserts are so delicious that there is no word to describe this taste. I would recommend anyone who wants a small escape to Italy in the center of Liverpool. See you again�������

Had my boyfriend 21ST birthday meal yesterday and food was absolutely delicious! Staff made everyone feel welcome and very friendly😊.. by far my favourite italian and will definitely be coming back again Xx
Brilliant all round! We arrived with no reservation on a busy Saturday evening and were seated without waiting. The staff were all so friendly and pleasant (and patient as we took ages to decide what to eat). The food was delicious, cooked to perfection and so tasty. My partner couldn’t finish his pizza so they offered to box it up so he could take it away. We were shocked at how much value for money it is too.. as we were expecting to pay a fair bit and were pleasantly surprised. Will definitely be returning here and will recommend to anyone and everyone 😊

Good service with some tasty food. Definitely a place to gather with friends for a special occassion. The only thing I can complain about is that the waitress who brought our wine opened it without showing it to us first. It wasn’t until she walked away and we realized it wasn’t even the right wine that we ordered. It was still delicious, but not what we asked for. Calamari was good and so was the pasta. Kids dessert comes in a cute ice cream cup.

Could not recommend this place enough! We arrived at about 18:00 looking for a meal and were seated after a short wait. Menu is full of options — I’d have gone with a margherita but there was this Gorgonzola pizza that tempted me, and I’m glad I chose it! Delicious. Food came quickly, service was great, overall a very good night
Amalia is a lovely Italian restaurant with nice staff and good food. Would highly recommend booking in advance as it does get busy. We got a table indoors on the ground floor. For summer, they have loads of outdoor sitting to enjoy the loveky weather.
The staff were very nice and helpful, our meals arrived on time and were cooked to perfection. If you are up for a big challenge, I would recommend you take the Calzone challenge (it's massive and could feed 3 people) - if you get to finish it alone within 1hr, you get it for free..... Have fun trying :-)
All in all, I would highly recommend a visit to Amalia if you are in Liverpool City Centre for a great Italian meal. They have won awards for their pizza over the last few years ( Hope to try it sometime soon)

We visited Amalia’s deli and coffee shop for coffee and cakes on a recent trip to Liverpool. What a gorgeous little Italian deli this is! Lots of delicious goodies to choose from, and a good selection of drinks too! We ordered wine, coffee, tea, tiramisu, mille fieulle, and passionfruit tart.

Amalia is a lovely restaurant with both inside and outside tables. Initially we chose a table as close to outside as possible as it was a fairly nice evening. It was under loudspeakers though so we asked for an outdoor table thst had just been vacated which was not a problem. Had a lovely meal here sharing pizza and pasta. The inside is nicely decorated, with an area dedicated to football memorabilia! There was a live singer, singing a nice mix of Italian songs and contemporary pop songs. The outside is nice too with tall shrubs, on 2 sides, that have been trimmed to look like cubes. 😃

Amazing place with delicious pizzas! Really filling. Love their base unlike some other place that is a bit chewy. Theirs is just perfect! The place can be a bit noisy and loud when there's party. Otherwise everything is great!
After walking in off the street, We're welcomed and seated immediately.
Wait staff were extremely courteous and pleasant.
Orders were taken promptly and food was delivered in very quick time.
Overall an excellent experience at the restaurant and recommend people to try it.
Service could be better but the food is really good. If you like a full pint of beer it's not for you as you will get a lot of foam and only one beer on tap. All taken into consideration 4 stars with a big push. Very loud as well.
They are pretty decent, the pizzas are definitely on the good side (8/10) the pasta also quite decent. Starters and dessert also tasty and quality. Lots of choices as well. Can't fault the place as we've been here almost 10 times already and had no major issue at all, actually we had no issues so far :). Can get very busy at some times.
A lovely, authentic restaurant - we went on a Friday (mid) afternoon so a little quieter (I imagine) but still a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious, rustic Italian - exactly what you want when you go to a family Italian. Decent price, friendly service, tasty food. Recommend.
Lovely food. Pizza dough is fresh crunchy and chewy in all the right ways. Cheesecake is a proper one. Not cheap supermarket garbage.

I'm Italian and I've to say this Italian restaurant is amazing. From the staff to the food... definitely do not miss it! We went for 2 consecutive days as we kept talking about it after the first time. It was also my partner's birthday and the staff prepared a very nice dessert, singing Happy Birthday all together!!! Absolutely brilliant place!

This is our favourite family place to go to, everytime we go to Liverpool City centre. The people working there are so nice and do a fantastic job of making you feel welcome.
The food is exceptional and the quality is consistent everytime we go. There's normally 5 or 6 of us and eat a variety of food off the menu and we've never had a complaint.
