First time visiting and it certainly won’t be the last. This is such a beautiful restaurant, the decor is lovely and unique.
We were looked after by the lovely Gary who was so friendly and attentive, he couldn’t do enough for us.
I ordered the chicken schnitzel which was delicious, the fried egg was cooked to perfection.
I can’t wait to come back!

I have ordered the traditional English breakfast as was really wondering how it will be cooked here. Canonically, it had black pudding, beans, mushroom, tomato, sausages, ham, egg, butter and toast. The contents were cooked well and tasted fabulously. I had poached egg even though you can have either this one, scrambled or fried. Despite being tasty, I felt like it was a bit not much enough for a full English breakfast (I wished I had more mushrooms and tomatos), likewise, it missed hash browns which, in my opinion, would make it trully fulfilled.
Anyway, an overall impression was satisfying as I had been kindly served by a waiter and didn't find any bit of food repelling. Price is relatively low considering pretty interior and rich atmosphere. For the breakfast, I paid £10.45 (not including drink)
Reasonable cooking waiting time

quick drink visit, whilst deciding where to go for dinner. I think we got there, after the rush, as tables were still with dirty plates/glasses, staff seemed to be busy. The staff were very friendly

I was thoroughly impressed with Emily’s customer service and all the staff were incredibly well dressed and respectful. I had not booked prior but they managed to squeeze me in at a table near the front and allowed me to leave a bag behind the bar while I picked up some female hygiene products and returned- My mum arrived from work and we were treated to the most amazing dishes! I ordered the steak which was cooked perfectly (medium rare/ á point) and my mum chose the fish pie :). we took our time and I was really enjoying rare time spent with my mum after a really difficult time in my life so thank you so much to the whole team for the amazing customer service!

Food was amazing and delicious. Great atmosphere but the food did take a long time to be served and they forgot a piece of the order which turned up half way through eating our main. But it was delicious so I don't mind to much. I would definitely recommend it as I'm sure mine was an isolated incident.

We had dinner to celebrate being engaged for 1 year. The food, atmosphere and service were excellent. We both had a delicious mocktail, there was a really good choice

Didn't require a booking when we arrived but it became quite busy shortly after we arrived. Gary was our waiter and what a delight, he was engaging, humorous but not inappropriately so, chatty and helpful. Keen to make sure we enjoyed our food and drink, knew the dishes he was serving and generally made sure our night went well. Excellent customer service( they should keep hold of him). The food was lovely, not too long a wait for ours to be served. Tasty, good portion sizes( not too much and definately not too little). They clearly have chefs that also take pride in their work. The desserts were to die for. You could taste all the flavours and really nicely presented. Would most definately recommend based on all round good service and great food, at fair prices.
Well done browns (+Gary👍)

The interior is absolutely beautiful, much better than other Browns I have been to in Scotland. Came in for a quick tea while waiting on my train to Glasgow after a very long flight. The staff were so kind, they could probably see I am dying for some sleep. Would love to come back if I am ever in Liverpool!

It is always a lovely experience at Brown's. The food is excellent, as is the service. This time we were served by Lisa, who attended to our every need with a beaming smile and great efficiency. She was excellent.

Had a nice dinner here, food was pretty good. Staff were really nice. Service was perhaps a little slow but understandable considering how busy it seemed to be, our waitress was literally running in and out of the kitchen. Nice ambience about the place.

We had the whole upstairs for our party of (almost 50) guests. The staff were extrememly helpful and friendly. They were happy to accommodate a few extra guests that turned up on the evening and hadn't pre-ordered. They were able to give us a breakdown of our bill which was also extremely helpful as we are a charity so need to itemise everything. Thank you to Paige for her pre-event organisation and to Lisa and the team onsite on the evening. I will definitely recommend to others.

Brilliant experience at Brown's! My partner has allergies, and they were brilliant as soon as we walked in.
The food and service were outstanding, a special mention to Lee, our waiter who made the experience even better.
Well done, browns. we will be returning and recommending you.

Wow! We went for Valentines Day and I was blown away. The food was exquisite, the cocktails were delightful and Lucy our server was probably the best, she couldn't do enough for us. It really made our night memorable for our first one together. Also, I can't forget they actually have a piano man! It was super romantic, will definitely be coming back

As my birthday was at the beginning of march My friend and I booked to see the performance of wicked a few months earlier and planned to go for a lovely meal As I live in Chester and we have a variety of restaurants we decided to go to one that we don't have so it was either Browns or jaimies Italian As I have had cocktails before in browns we decided to eat there I also had a £10 off £40 offer. We ordered our mains schnitzel chicken and salmon and I ordered extra chips because with the salmon for £14 you get asparagus, spinach & hollindaise sauce so its quite pricey Food was ok, tasty, the waitress came as we had eaten half of it to see if food was ok but my friends chicken was hard at the edges and did not taste of lemon & herbs & her dressed salad instead of chips were leaves no tomatoes or cucumber a lot of money for £13 my salmon was lovely then I realised after eating half of the meal that I didn't have one of the main ingredients the sauce We told the waitress the problems with our food she apologised and 10 minutes later the manager came and apologised said they were 2 new dishes on the menu & so the chef had had problems he offered us a dessert each for free and some discount which we thought was fair The desserts arrived and the fruit raspberries on my friends were rotten & my homemade shortbread with the Creme brûlée were rock hard and inedible Really embaressing complaining about free desserts then we ordered lattes and cappuccino but the machine was broke so we could have filter coffee with cream which was not that hot When the bill came as promised the desserts were free and he knocked off 20% but I had an offer anyway so we would had paid that anyway We were both so disappointed as it was my choice as it was my birthday and it was not the best experience We have said that we won't go in there again on our few trips to Liverpool next time it will be jaimies Really, really disappointing.

My 4 year old daughter and I went for a meal today, we were first told there was no fish on the menu, my first was crap what is my daughter going to eat (she's autistic so has some sensory issues when it comes to food) after explaining to the waiter there was fish cake on the menu but it came with salad and mayo -there's no way she would eat salad and mayo, he was happy to order her the fish cake with chips and peas- one happy child. I found that both the waiters and waitress was lovely with her and patient even when it can to ordering ice cream she had to have 1 scoop 'pink' and the other 'white ' I would be more than happy to eat there again, thank you for a lovely meal that could of been a disaster.

Never been here before till yesterday, firstly we were looked after very well by our server Gary no complaints there. However I felt our bill of £81 was rather excessive for 3 fish and chips and 1 burger and chips 2 alcoholic drinks and 2 soft drinks, the £7 service charge did not help I did not know this was optional as this was not stated anywhere we always tip our server as we are never sure if staff ever see any of this so called service charge. The fish we had was lovely but the burger was rock hard, don’t think we will be getting caught out again.

We were a group of 10 - Liverpool Service was very slow, there wasn’t a lot of people in! I ordered full breakfast, eggs were hard, toast dry+ crumbly. My tea took ages to come

Breakfast

Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Very quiet. Choice of seats. Ordered at the bar rather than waitress coming to us, but that was fine. We both had eggs florentine and coffee. Very quick service. Nice food. Quiet music playing. Began to get busier towards lunch time. Beautiful building. Friendly staff. Felt very relaxed and would like to come back and try the afternoon tea.

Stopped in on my way back to my hotel for dinner. The restaurant interior is beautifully detailed. The service was top notch and the food didn't take long before arriving. The drink I ordered took a little bit longer but I didn't have a problem with that. Overall I enjoyed my meal and had a great time.

I would like to give 4.3 for this score rating :))
I loovee the atmosphere and the dessert
Went here for the business lunch package with my sister, I've ordered steak frites for the main course and rhubarb&custard for dessert. My sister has ordered shepreds pie for the main course, and salted caramel chocolate pot for dessert.
The steak was tender and juicy, the shepherds pie was really tasty, the rhubarb&custard pie was sooo good, and the salted caramel&chocolate pot was amazing:)))
We've also ordered asparagus&prosciutto(with poached egg, smoked salmon, and hollandaise sauce) and it was also sooo good:))

Gördüğüm en güzel Manchester restoranlarından biri. Özellikle fish pielerı yediğimin en iyisiydi. Her şey çok taze ve lezzetliydi. Tatlı olarak Trio of Chocolate kesinlikle deneyin...

Great location in Liverpool One Centre. We ate at Browns and shared the belly-busting mixed starter which included asparagus with the most overwhelmingly buttery sauce, pulled pork croquettes and popcorn chicken. I had a big hearty steak pie with a flaky pastry crust with a mulled wine topped with cinnamon sugar on the side. My mum had lamb chops with a little mini shepherds pie to go with it which was a bit of a meat overload, but some people like that, right? The rhubarb ice cream got me really excited but it fell massively short of the mark and was far too sweet and totally missed the sharpness of rhubarb.
