At first look the menu is a typical burgers ribs and steak place but living round the corner and after 5 visits it's more the that. Faultless every visit and the food is exceptional, always leave full up and saying we'll be back which we will. Taken plenty of people there, all say it's amazing and lucky to be on our doorstep. The Baja fish taco is one of the best things I've ever eaten �
Always lovely service at the bar, great cocktails and in such good atmosphere! The music is again always spot on and layout perfect for either drinks or dining! Menu has all time favourites with interesting twists and every dish has been delicious...the steak is an absolute winner of course! A favourite place in Woolton Village! Thanks guys x
After the electricity went off on mother’s Day and we didn’t get our meal!! Which was not at the fault of the company we were very upset but since then they have been more then accommodating with us and could not do enough in way of compensating us for this unfortunate event. We were booked in the week after and now after having a fabulous meal with amazing service we can only thank the staff and this establishment for the way in which the situation was dealt and can honestly say this has reinforced what a fabulous restaurant this is and we will certainly be back again �� again thank you to all staff for their professionalism and kindnesses xxxx
Absolutely love this place! Holly (our waitress) made this visit even better, nothing was too much trouble as we had a pregnant lady with us and checked on all the ingredients for us (aswel as a gluten free person) she is an absolute credit to this restaurant.

Spent yesterday evening in the cabin with 20 family members for my daughters 21st. Sean looked after us all night and couldn't have done more if he tried, he's a real asset to your restaurant. Food was great and I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.
The service was friendly and quick. I had the buttermilk chicken plate!! Portions are generous and delicious! Lovely setting and great atmosphere. Would definitely go again.
So so nice! Staff are friendly, great atmosphere. Reasonably priced. Big portions haha! Parking not that great but not many places even have a car park. A few unsavories coming in after teatime too.. but there was door staff and a dress code which makes probably makes a difference.

Strange having to preorder our food which is very new to me We were having a birthday party there 16 of us Plus 5£ a head deposit Food delicious not big portions quite expensive for my tastes staff very friendly & professional We were upstairs so music was OK Gets very crowded
Really nice place, they've done a great job with this, the decor is great and it has a nice ambiance about it. Food was, for the most part, fantastic. Dessert the only thing that left this short of 5 stars, I had the Donuts which appeared to have been pre-made and frozen, mine were still Rick solid and had barely any filling which was disappointing though the staff were quick to replace it with another dish, our waitress was extremely friendly and made a fuss of our visiting for a special occasion. Will definitely go back.

I don't know what I expected from the Liberty Tavern but I was pleasantly suprised by their food and service. The waiting staff were very pleasant and made suggestions which were constructive and honest. The food was very good and well priced as well.
I think my initial apprehension was due to having only previously visited on a weekend evening when it can be very busy in the bar. I hadn't eaten before and maybe thought food was an aside. I admit I had formed an opinion that wasn't valid. I shall definitely return.
Had my beautiful wife Julie’s birthday celebration there, staff were really attentive and welcoming, especially Eliza who looked after us so very well from the minute we entered the dining room, till the minute we left, she even took a photograph of both of us, which she gave to us on the night, also a free drink for the birthday girl, how special does that make you feel, lovely touch. Food was very nice and well presented, and well priced, especially that your dining in such lovely surroundings, well done the Liberty Tavern
Fantastic Pub/Restaurant this place, the food here is amazing, they do cocktails also. Late bar over the weekends, it is lively & has a very good atmosphere. Some say its a little expensive but you do get what you pay for here.
Sister pub to the elephant with the same quality and prices, feels slightly more premium and occasionally has live music on. Heaters in the small terrace outside are nice for cold nights.
Came here to check out The Maker's Market. It was really well organised and something for everyone. There was entertainment, which was really good. Will definitely go to the next 1
Good food good service pleasant staff From the door men up to the waitress the bar and restaurant are both relaxing area to drink or eat plus you can also have the same under cover out side 👍
Decent bar with some good beer selection. Not seen PBR anywhere else recently. Some very amusing ‘sights’ amongst the clientele including someone who looked like they were wearing a nightie. Food looked very good but didn’t get chance to try it.
Food is awesome. Atmosphere is awesome. Staff cannot do enough. This is such a lovely place. I really should visit the Liberty more often.
G'day guys, visited last night with my wife & two friends, great service great staff & also great food.
Definitely be visiting again, my wife is a chef & has worked with the likes of James Martin & Julie Waters so she know's her stuff.
