What a change the new owners have made to the Pioneer!! - All refreshed and immaculate, walked in at lunch time and approached immediately by smiling staff (Olly), who sorted out a clean table, asked if we needed any drinks and handed out menu's. The food was reasonable but the quality was that of

Lovely place to enjoy a cool drink and some food, served with a smile. A nice area inside but even nicer outside with high tables to enjoy your drink / food in the sun. They have a good selection of cocktails and appetisers.

Great night tonight celebrating husbands 70th birthday everyone had a fabulous time staff were great thank you all at the pioneer food was great.

Too much salt on chips for kid on kid menu. my mum is the fussyiest person in the world and loved the ribs. Would of got a 5* only for the salt on chips and chicken
