Never had food served in less than 10 mins of ordering and be so delicious. Incredible! Mine was sirloin steak and fries and the other chicken melt, washed down with a Pina colada.
It does eer on the expensive side but lovely food, staff and atmosphere. Bring on the desserts!

As avid foodies Yee Rah is one of our fave restaurants in Liverpool city centre - found in Liverpool One - straight up the escalator facing the Odeon cinema!
It's a large spacey chic restaurant - plenty of room between tables and a long bar. We've always found it spotlessly clean and toilets 🚻 are up the stairs to the left.
The menu is predominantly Asian but if you want a burger or fish&chips it's all good! The drinks menu is spot on aswell 🥂🍺🍹🍸🥤
We last visited here on Monday 28th June at around 2pm. It was busy with chilled atmosphere. At this time of covid 19 we wore masks to enter the restaurant as the outside seating was full. The staff also wore masks 👍🏼
After ordering a pitcher of Rose wine margarita (for two)🍹🍹 we ordered our food. . .
My partner ordered the Beef Teriyaki with salad, fries and Jasmine rice. I ordered the crispy duck in hoisin sauce sandwich with fries. We also ordered two portions of onion rings which came with chilly sauce.
Everything was delicious but those freshly made super crispy onion rings were to die for! 👌🏼
We were also pleasantly surprised that we got three glasses 'each' from the cocktail pitcher. It was nice too!
I personally love yee rah's Cesar salad and It's definitely one of best I've ever had! All their noodle dishes are brilliant too! and the satay sauce is incredible.
To sum up . . .
Great location
Great staff
Awesome food&drink
Highly recommended 👌🏼
Dish Update - We were here again on Tue 10th August. I had the Udon Noodles for the first time - OMG! Delicious 🤗
Dish Update- I was last here on Sunday 27th March 2022. I had the Chicken Fajitas. Just wow! Brought out on a sizzling cast iron skillet - full of flavour - gorgeous soft flour tortillas - what a meal! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

First time visiting this place, on a rather busy Sunday late evening and it was a very pleasant experience. Came in a group of 7 to celebrate my sons birthday and we can not fault the service, food or hospitality. It was all excellent. Offered two tables on the terrace and it made my sons birthday that extra bit special in an open environment. The friendly staff looked after us very well and all were keen to give us their prompt service. Quick to take orders and quick to bring the food. Special Thanks & praise to two staff members Nokie & Ticha who went out of their way to give us excellent customer service. We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant and look forward to the excellent food and service again. Thank you Yee Rah.👏🏽*****

Overal we had a good experience, service was not quite as prompt as we are used to, even though the place was not very busy. Food is well presented, cooked to order in the open plan kitchen & tasted great. However as with some other reviews we had the same issue of food going cold quickly (especially my mixed grill which came served on a skewer).
This might be due to the plates not being warm & slow service are the only reason I've not awarded 5 stars.
Robin Quin
Lovely place with great food, cocktails are amazing. Average price. But we ordered spring rolls and 4 came out costing us £5.50 which is over £1 a roll... madness

Well worth it and good value for money! The service here is great — we were seated instantly, and received our orders very quickly. The Cocktails are lovely, and the food is deliciously authentic. I would honestly say it is the best Asian food I’ve ever had in Liverpool.

Super fast service and food came out really fast considering Saturday afternoon and able to get a table without booking and no wait times - food was delicious and a great variety to suit a selection of favourites - great for with a group and the outdoor seating was nice, music was abit noisy at times but good vibes all round - thanks
Emma Lynch
Loved it here, food is always brilliant (try the spicy udon noodles) and the drinks are even better. The staff were so brilliant when our outdoor seats (due to Covid restrictions) ended up getting wet in the rain, all of a sudden every parasol was up and ready to keep us toasty and dry. Brilliant staff who are a credit to this restaurant. When the weather is nice (and even when it's not!) Yee Rah is perfect to bask in the sunshine and the ambience!
Denise Ryley
Great food, great service. Very busy but things were running smoothly. Staff friendly. Will definitely eat here again.

Even though the place was extremely busy, the service was faultless. The food came very quick and was delicious! We were constantly checked on to make sure we had everything we needed and there was a lovely atmosphere to the place.

Love the food, love the service, nothing to complain about, definitely recommend

The food at Yee Rah is always amazing! The turnover is also really quick and the staff very friendly. You’ll want to pretty much order the whole menu when you’re there! Prices are also really good with a good variety of options.
The Peri-peri chicken and dough balls are a must have. My husband always get either their Pad Thai or Singapore noodles and always enjoys it!
We’ve been to Yee Rah four times now, the first for my husband’s surprise 25th birthday six years ago! This place holds such special memories for us.

I had a pulled pork salad and it was amazing! I also had a chocolate cake (seen in the photo) and that just tipped off the day well! The food came out quick and the staff are really friendly! I recommend this place and I would definitely come again! :)
Kristi Evans
This place is amazing! Once I got my meal, it was delicious. I would recommend this place.
Rob Noble
I had the mixed grill which came out on a hanging scure and have to say it was all very nice. Restaurant was busy so service was a little slow but not a massive inconvenience as you have to expect that when a place is busy. Would I go back....yes but as someone who likes to eat in different places, unless they blow me away, I would rather go somewhere new.
Amy Yang
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was phenomenal, on the pricey side but was worth.
Jan Young
Great choice in menu, never been before and would certainly go again, staff were lovely and very helpful as ordered two glasses of prosecco and were told we could get two for the price of one off the cocktail menu , which saved us money and very grateful that they made us awear of this saving .great food ,thai green curry was amazing and my daughter ordered the beef ,which I tasted and was very tasty to ,would definitely recommend this place and would go back again 😁.

We were seated more or less straight away and then waited about 10 mins to be served with drinks the waitress also took our food order.
We waited a good 20minutes still no food asked the man who seated us who told a woman. She came over no apology just said fish and chips we said yes. So we waited another 10 mins whilst they sorted what went wrong still no one came over too us and still no apology. Our fish and chips arrived 10 minutes later. I myself never ate all my meal as i could taste flour . When we asked for the bill no apology all we got asked was did you enjoy your meal. Safe too say I will never return too this establishment again.
Becky Mcloughlin
I visited the restaurant today for the first time in a long while with my sister and my son. The food was delicious on the lunch menu and the service was good :) However we were sat at a table near to the kitchen and if visiting again I will request to be sat as far away as possible. The whole time we were there the chef who was dealing with all the orders and prepared food kept shouting. I understand the kitchen environment is fast paced and they were semi busy but the way he was shouting at both kitchen and serving staff was unnecessary and very abrupt. It doesn't make for a relaxing atmosphere at all and I wasn't the only customer at that time to think that.
Liz Wildman
Food was lovely and staff very accommodating and friendly when we asked to be moved from by the drafty door would definitely recommend, the steak with peppercorn sauce was delish x
Jill Knowles
Went here yesterday for my birthday with my
mum we were asked where we would like to sit & were seated immediately. Staff were lovely and friendly and when one of them noticed the sun burning my mums back she came over and asked if we would like to move to a shaded table, which I thought was I nice touch. Once we ordered our food came out really quickly we both had the Rump steak sandwich & fries which was lovely. Will definitely be coming back her soon would definitely recommend a visit
Michele Rickard
Very nice food and plentiful - cocktails a bit weak but still enjoyable, nice friendly staff, I would definitely recommend

Deano Trickett
We had the mixed grill and the service the presentation was faultless, great selection of food and had no complaints about the quality, the time to it too to bring out and service, we are from Nottingham and will visit again.
Daniel Holmes
Good drinks and good food. Nothing outstanding but nothing to complain about. it is quite cramped and we were sat right at the bottom of the stairs and it felt like someone had fallen over every time the waiter came thundering down the stairs behind me thats the only reason I haven't given it 5 stars
Oliver Rudd
Absolutely amazing food. It was rammed
On a Saturday night. We sat down and ordered food. Our meals were out within 10 minutes and was delicious. Ever in Liverpool, worth a stop!!!
Kimberley Collins
Went for the first time tonight, food was delicious and came so fast! Cocktails were lovely, was my partners birthday and they brought a cake out and sang happy birthday, lovely staff!
Jessica Draycott
Lovely decorated place but awful service. We were pretty much ignored all night, so much so that they obviously forgot to serve us our mains and we were left without even an offer of a drink for about 45 minutes. Food was not great when it came. Won't be returning.
Gavin Gusling
Great service and a large drinks and food menu, Peri Peri chicken was good, cooked well and a nice home made sauce.

2 for 1 happy hour is great value, food was out quickly and service prompt. Worth the visit.
I have visited this place three times and enjoyed the food.. Love the Thai Green curry they serve. The place is a bit crowded but otherwise great place for a nice lunch or dinner.

After seeing all the reviews here, i was a bit surprised of how much i actually like this place. I went on the weekend for an early dinner, the place was already packed but we managed to find a table straight away. I ordered thai holy basil stir fry. The waitress warn me about the spiciness. i thought the UK standard of spiciness wouldn't bother my asian tongue, but this one was quite spicy! And i like it cos its so hard to find a proper spicy dish here in UK. Overall, satisfied!
Shwetabh Mathur
This is for denying that blind girl the dignity of having food just because she had a guide dog...

Pathetic... throw away your so called thai food if you cant treat people properly... maybe this rating would tell people to stay away from you.

Terrible. We went for lunch, service ignored us, took the wrong order, we wanted to order more drinks and it took us 20 minutes to get someone's attention. Food was dull and £45 for two people for lunch not even have alcohol was far too much. Never ever again. One good thing, it was clean.
Chelle
Love it. They do the tastiest pad thai i have had, the staff are all lovely and very welcoming, there is never a wait as we book before hand this is so easy through there own website.
The resturant is very clean and beautiful, its a great start to a night out as there cocktails are fab.

Went with my partner on a Monday night. Was served fairly quickly, although drink orders where not taken. I payed £10 for a beef salad, and the portion was dreadful - like a child's portion. The wedges tasted like Tesco's own, and we where there no more than 30 minutes. Terrible experience, never again.
DVaughan
It was our first visit to here and I was fairly impressed with the food, we didn't wait long for the food and when it arrived it was well presented and tasted great. My only critism might be the price, although it was nice I didn't think it deserved £10 for a noodle dish that was also quite dry. But deffinetly worth a visit.

Overpriced, average food, felt nauseous after eating here. Poor service

Rip Off!. Ate at Yee Rah Saturday 17th July 2010. There was four of us from work on a night out. We all ordered the Lamb Kebab main meal at £11.95 each and with a couple of drinks each, our meal was nearly £100. The meal is never worth that kind of money. Their website menu guide says it includes Dubai rice, which none of us recieved, apparently the website is out of date and you no longer get rice with that dish. It does come with a nasty Asda style 80p Naan bread. The drinks are a rip off. I phoned the manager to complain and he was not bothered! I will never eat there again.

Yee rah. I eat here at least once a month. the staff are always friendly and there's a wide choice to choose from the menu which is reasonably priced. the platters are especially tasty as are the noodle dishes. good for both an afternoon lunch or an evening tea. it'll have u coming back again and again.
Pablo
A resturant where if you have the right company and don't pay too much attention to the service (hit and miss) the food is imaculate! It's not cheap but it's not re morgage prices either and worth it in my opinion
JandC
Disappointed. We visited on a Saturday early evening and had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. Not a problem as it's a busy period and expected. It would have been nice to order a drink whilst waiting for the table and browsing the menu but this was not on offer. I think Yee Rah are missing a trick here. We sat at our table which was fine but a bit cold (they had a portable heater near by). We waited about 10 more minutes before the waitress took our order (including the first drinks). The food was nice enough but value for money wise we rate it as poor. 2 starters, 2 main meals, 1 mojito (very nice), 3 beers came to about £50. The service was patchy although the waitress was very pleasant on the occasions we were attended to. It's a nice enough place but we probably won't go back as we feel it's not good value for money.
Lauz
To be honest the service isn't the best but we thought the food was lovely. It was the second time we had been a couple of days ago and couldn't fault the food. The also do a nice cocktail menu... The mojito in the was one of the best I have had.
Peter Worthington
I visited yee rah last Saturday and was very pleased with the whole experience. I visited with my wife and 3 children at around 8pm. On arrival we where greeted and informed that there was a wait on tables, this did not bother us as we therefore thought that it must be a nice place to visit. We where able to order and recieve drinks whilst waiting also. The service was exceptional as was the food. I ordered the beef teryaki and my wife ordered the salmon teryaki which where both exquisite my son ordered a pizza and daughters both ordered noodle dishes. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed our vist and will deffinatly be returning. Recomend to anyone.

Medium quality service with a nice polish smile! Again another resturant in Liverpool one filled with people that only halve understand English and on a platter we asked about " no so good spring roll 2 ". Me and my girlfriend had 1 chicken steak fajita, which was pronounced by the waitress as "fageeter", and this cost £27:99 and was apparently enough for both of use but after a lengthy wait we were presented with 2 side plates and a large plate with ALOT of lettuce not so much cheese or goucamole and then we were brought a sizzeling hot plate of meat after which I wondered when the other half of the meal would arrive the food is over priced and a large coke which is half a pint, cost £2:25 the only good thing was the chicken was tasty also had one of my orders for a second round of drinks ignored and forgottwn about in a biz blud!

Put off at the front door. My husband and I had just been to see Michael Jackson 'This is it at the Odeon' and have to say that the flm was great and we wanted to finish our evening off with a nice meal on the Leisure Terrace. We looked at the menu at Yee Rah and thought it looked good so we decided to try this restaurant for the first time. As we approached the door there was a number of what I now know where staff dressed up for Halloween sitting on a table outside chatting. My husband and I walked to the door and a girl dressed as a cat, then walked up to us and stood with her back to us blocking the doorway and carried on chatting the the rest of the group sitting nearby. I reached past her to open the door and she then turned around and told me that she would show me to my table and to 'follow her'! She then preceded to go through the door and let the door close in front of myself and my husband. At this point we realised that this was not the service we found acceptable and turned and walked out (without even trying the food!!!!) We then had a fantastic meal and excellent service at a nearby itialian restaurant where we spent a lot of money and gave a good tip!!! Check you front of house Yee Rah!!!
Kat
Wonderful!. My husband and I visited Yee Rah on a saturday night when Liverpool played Hull, and won, hence it was very busy!
Although we had to wait about half an hour for a table, it wasn't a terrible wait as we were served drinks and given a menu to look at. My husband drank beer, which was very nice apparantly, and I had a lovely Jack Daniels cocktail!
We only had mains with sides, both having Thai green chicken curry, him with rice and myself with spaghetti, also sides of spicy wedges and garlic bread.
We couldn't fault it one bit, the curry was delicious, rice and pasta cooked perfectly, the garlic bread was divine and wedges were very tasty.
We had no problems with service/slow clearing etc.
We had 2 drinks each and our food and It came to about £40 (I was drinking £5 cocktails!)
All in all very nice, and we would defintaly go back again.
(p.s I dont work for them, just really enjoyed my whole experience there)
Nicola
Disappointing!!. My husband and I ate at yee rah 2 weeks ago and I have to say it was a complete let down. Steak was dry and full of gristle and hand cut chips as stated on the menu were frozen chips. Rice was overcooked and sweet and sour chicken was average chip shop standard. Would never go adain!
Sharon
Would not go back. The service was terrible, we were served our starters without any cultery or serviettes. We had to go and ask and was told to help ourselves!
Starter was nice however.
We both had chicken for our main course which was not cooked. It is now 15 hours later and i am still feeling sick!
Simon Evans
Very average food well presented with very slow service, my advice make sure your first drink lasts you as you won't get another, even if you ask!!! In it difence it was very busy but seemed to be an awful lot of staff standing round
John
YeeRah !. Well I certainly wasn't whooping with joy. The food here was good when I went but the service was awful.
No check backs, forgetting drinks orders, taking ages to clear empty plates, The table next to me had their empty plates sat at their table in excess of 20 minutes.

A friend of mine said that when he went they brought their mains out while the starter plates were still at at he table! Shocking. Poor in-house communication seemed to be lacking.

Unlikely to return

Yee Rah. Would not venture bak 2 this dreadful place....although the service was prompt, they were unfortunately let down by the food they served.
All went well when me and my fiance arrived and were promply greeted and showed 2 a table (it was a Thurdayday Evening and we had not booked a table) although it seemed busy (the main reason we decided to venture into the place was because of its volume of customers compared 2 other restaurants in the precinct).
Starter of chicken wings and chicken skewers, we thought would be good 2 start, but the chicken wings came almost cold......
The mains topped the annoyance off dramatically, my partners spaghetti carbonara was drenched in condensed milk topped by diced tinned tomatoes. My Lamb cutlets (lazily accompanied by a small saucer of mint sauce) and i had 2 usher the waitress as the cutlets , when cut had bright running red blood from them.... i recieved a " oh ye!" fromthe waitress...and paid my bill and left without w tip, before my temper became the better of me - please do not be fooled by its lovely interior / exterior as i asure u it will not be worth ur well hardened cash!!!! x

Despite the mixed reviews, headed over here for an easy meal before going out for the night. Large open space and a staggering amount of seating in this two-story establishment. Easily was able to get a table for two on a Sunday evening.
Large menu with a slathering of different options even beyond Asian fusion. Settled on the Peri Peri Chicken (£10) - a roasted half chicken served with fries, tomatoes, and greens. Food comes out not too long after ordering; a warm section of chicken drowning in peri peri sauce. Overall the chicken is tender and well-marinated. Sauce is okay, though better with some hot sauce at the table. Fries are your standard fare.
Service isn't half-bad considering the amount of area each waiter needs to cover. Seems like they have a decent happy hour as well if ordering drinks.
Mouldy B.
The only good thing about this place is it's name, the food is icky and I good food poisoning from the waffles that I ate before here, but yes the food was icky and yucky, my little brother died in his lasagna so I have some bad memories of this place. ()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()

After wandering around the central Liverpool area looking for a nice place for lunch and after three failures, we happened upon this complex with multiple nice appearing establishments. I was in the mood for some Thai food, so this was the pick.
Definitely not a classic Thai place. Some sort of fusion. That said, I ordered the som tum, here just called papaya salad. It had an authentic taste and was spicy despite my not requesting spicy since my mom was with me. I was pleased. The basil chicken was also decent. The chicken was not ground as it should be but this is not uncommon in western countries given the impression that ground meat is of lesser quality. The flavors were good.
Service was not as attentive as in other Asian places, but overall, no complaints. Ambiance was light and open.

We (family of 4) didn't look on yelp and chose the restaurant because there was sth for everybody on the menu. One star for the swift service in the beginning, Food was terrible: burgers were dry and so hard, that it was difficult to cut them with the knives. Fish and chips: the dough was on one portion almost one centimeter- both had too much oil on it. Fries were all squashy. No waiter asked for another round of drinks. One hour after dinner 3 out of 4 people had problems with the stomach.
Ed H.
Place looks very promising, but the food was disappointing. I ordered fries and steak, the fries were super oily and the steak was served cold and tasteless. My girlfriend ordered the rice noodles and gave up after taking two bites. The only thing we liked was the side salad. Service was very slow and unfriendly. I will not be back again.
Mike W.
Came for lunch, but was to crowded and did not want to wait. Came back for dinner and am so glad we did. The pitcher of Pimms cup was great while we waited for our table. The bowl of green and black olives with garlic and prawn chips were also great. We picked 3 different curry dishes that were so tasty. Can't decide which one was the best!

It doesn't look like people have had a great time at this place, perhaps luckily however in my experience, Yee Rah has always been spot on.
In a haze of post-dissertation happiness we went to celebrate with, yes, of course, you know me well enough by now... cocktails. The Long Island Ice Tea was delish. And to accompany the alcohol we couldn't decide on a main each so decided to split the Ocean Platter. What a good decsion that was. I mean, it was all deep-fried so hardly the healthiest of choices but the calamari and the crispy salmon were amazing! And the dip was actually hot which is always a bonus.
Sitting on the outside seating in the sunshine enjoying the view of the L1 park we were served pretty much straight away, drinks following swiftly.
I've also had the Singapore Noodles before, good portion size, the perfect amount of hot and spicy. No complaints!
Suzanne H.
haha! this place is experiencing some serious identity issues. Where else can you get a jungle curry with a side of fries? It's a thai food restaurant that serves mostly pizza.
The staff is Thai, The decor is thai (including the phalic statue above the grill) and the thai food on the menu is definitely thai. Why do you feel the need to sell yourself short and sell pizza? because people want pizza.
I had the jungle curry, and I was a bit worried it might be spicey, but it only had 2 pepper slices in it, so I was pretty pleased.
I don't see myself up in the liverpool area anytime soon, so I might never go there again, but if someone is in that mall area and looking for something but you don't know what you want yet they should go here.
Tina W.
I'm really not sure about this one.
A group of friends and I visited last night for a 21st birthday celebration, we had booked ahead and our table, a large crescent booth upstairs, was ready and waiting for our arrival. The staff were very courteous taking drink and food orders promptly though unhurriedly. The food arrived extremely quickly, was presented beautifully and our party and, more importantly, the birthday girl was satisfied, however, personally, I wouldn't go back. Maybe I'm bitter because the Papaya Salad I ordered had sold out, (although, as my friend pointed out with such few salads actually available on the menu, there should be enough of each!) or that my substitute King Prawns were ridiculously be-chillied, or maybe I'm still peeved by the price of bottled water, (£3) but Yee Rah just didn't do it for me; it was permanently smokey which was a little unpleasant for diners; the menu, while diverse, is a little confused with pizzas, pastas, noodles, curry, even Greek Salad, it seems to amalgamate numerous cuisines to the point it is impossible to define, apparently it's Thai.
As a fussy eater I found it quite difficult to select a meal- much of the food is tempura, even the vegetables, or coated in rich sauces- however the waiter graciously provided steamed vegetables at my request.
While there were some patent pros of Yee Rah: the view across Liverpool One; the cleanliness of the restaurant and rest rooms; the staff and, for the most part, the food, there were some noticeable cons; I was surprised by the venue upon entrance to be honest; I had expected something far more intimate and the restaurant is much lighter, more open and seems a little canteen-like downstairs filled with very casually dressed people; I don't think it's somewhere to go on a date, and if you do don't order anything with chillies! I like spicy food but my mouth, eyes and serviette took a beating.
Emma Louise M.
Yee Rah's a funny little place, funnier perhaps even than its name. When it opened up in Liverpool One praise was lavished upon it, the food tasted fresh, the critics fawned. But just as Sam has confirmed, it's gone down the apathetic route and kind of... lost its way slightly.
The service can be patchy at times and the food is very hit and miss. Waiting times are very, very long and you might find people getting their drinks before you who came in AFTER you. As I say I've heard that when the food's good it's VERY good, but it just seems to have lost interest in itself. Now come on, we WANT restaurants to be self-indulgent, that's the point!
Sam S.
The first time I visited Yee Rah back in May I loved it! Was so impressed with the food and the selection on the menu.
Since then I'd heard friends say they didn't like it but didn't think much of it.
When I went a few weeks back on a very busy Sunday I was expecting the same food I had enjoyed last time. Sadly not. The menu has changed so they no longer had the starter I had last time (vegetable samosa). They also have starter options for sharing but you can't order those particular items individually. (From what I can remember the veggie option only had one item we wanted on it the others items included brie and feta..not all vegetarians eat these type of cheeses!).
I ordered vegetable tempura, which was absolutely disgusting. Most of it was cucumber! My pad thai was a lump of goo and the dessert, pancakes in this case were all burnt. The picture on the menu shows a huge stack 8 american pancakes you get 3 on the plate! lol.
Not everybody that day was disappointed with their main menu but nobody could eat the tempura.
Also after we were seated the table behind us left was set up for the next group, new people sat down and had their drinks before someone had even bothered to take our drinks order.
Faye-Brozzy
ate here twice in the past lovely food, bit odd how they present it but nevertheless tasty (not cheap though by a long shot)
tom_tj
one of the less expensive places to eat in the city centre and you always get a plate of food that leaves you full. being able to eat upstairs, downstairs or outside means you never feel like the place is packed
wirralmatt
Great food, reasonable prices, very nice atmosphere. Clean, lively and pleasant environment. Good service.
