This is a nice modern pub inside, great outdoor space/ courtyard. Really good selection of drinks too. I had pizza and chips, both beautiful, added bonus was the chips were just like my ma used to make me.
Lady of Mann is the really nice pub. The food is lovely & the staff are brilliant. It's a nice chilled atmosphere & in the summer there is a courtyard to sit outside. Would definitely recommend paying a visit.
Lady of Mann is a fantastic place for a drink. It shares a courtyard with Thomas Rigbys so you could be forgiven for thinking it's the same pub but its got a great character all of it's own. Friendly service and some beers that I'd never sampled before. Visited in the afternoon and our party of three were the only customers there but I'm sure it gets busy in the evenings . Large beer garden to enjoy on a nicer day .
Went for a drink there after a bottomless brunch and yeah the atmosphere was good. Unfortunately, no space outside in the courtyard but we got a table easy enough. Great, but very quiet pub, hosts board game nights every other Thursday. Food selection is a 'deli counter', i.e. cold meats, chutney, biscuits and cheese but pretty decent at that, once you get over the cost.
We went to watch Liverpool play and with the amount of TVs they have it's ideal. The food is basic and comes from a local restaurant I think but is worth it.
Didn't have any food but the ale was good and the service brilliant worth a visit.

Just a quick line to say what a great time we all had last Friday on Ladies Day (Aintree). Joe and his colleagues did us proud. Great service and atmosphere. It was better than being at the races! (I had been the day before). We will definitely be booking again in the future.
The bar man who served us was indifferent but he was young, he needs to smile as well. Beers good, area clean. Toilets downstairs. Brilliant, friendly pub just off the main areas of town. Within 3 minutes walk of Mathew Street, and close to the gay quarter, this pub is perfect for a starting point to a night out, or a last drink before heading home. It has a huge outside beer garden which has TVs for whatever sporting event is
