Came to the 70s and 80s night 7th July for my hen party great night food was lovely and staff were really nice too!!
Myself and my husband stayed last night after booking the winter promo deal which consisted of overnight stay, 2 course meal and a bottle of wine! If I could give more stars I would! The hotel, room, food, drinks and service are all absolutely fantastic. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering booking. Thank you xx
Just returned after 2 lovely nights here for the hubbys 50th. Cant recommend this place enough, fantastic hotel all round including the staff who were professional and pleasant.
Dinner was delicious, fantastic atmosphere, staff were brilliant. The restaurant vibe is dark and funky. We had steak frites and burger which were massive and the biggest onion rings I’ve seen!
We booked a deluxe club room with river view which I wouldn’t book again. The window was tiny and the river view was obscured by other buildings, it’s not worth the extra price. The king size bed was a zipped together one with no mattress topper. The decor was lovely and it had all the usual amenities. It did have a bad drain smell though in the middle of the night.
Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked and staff were wonderful again.

Perfect date weekend! We are hooked! Great food, great rooms, lovely finishing touches. Just beautiful at Christmas! The location is spot on for a relaxing waterside weekend!
Possibly the best steak frites I've ever eaten, not very busy when there hence the lower atmosphere score but the food is very good as are the attentive staff.
Love this hotel and all it's contributing factors. The restaurant is great - superb food and you must try the 450g steaks. Great bar and always people around. Lovely rooms. Cannot be faulted and is my go to in Liverpool for business. Also would be my choice for pleasure too.
Had the most amazing steak cooked on the Josper grill. Washed it down with a smokey bourbon which went so well. Really enjoyed my meal after taking expert recommendation from a bartender.
Fabulous stay, room was lovely spacious and very clean. Comfy bed (slippers, bathrobe and coffee machine provided) breakfast was great with so many choices, everyone was very polite and helpful but a bit thank you to Ivana she went the extra mile for our stay and made sure our family was looked after (our kids loved her!)
Had a fabulous lunch today for Mothers day the food was fabulous & Matt our server looked after us so well he was a pleasure thank you xx

Staying at malmaison is the BEST choice for you! The bar staff are so lovely and make the best drinks! Connor, Santi & Taylor! Great service from all three they make incredible drinks. Becca was an amazing host! Absolutely lovely! Very friendly deserves a promotion! Cannot recommend this place enough.

Came over to Liverpool last Thursday and decided to try the Brasserie for the half price steak deal. Had a really nice evening, the restaurant has a lovely comfortable feel to it and the food was first rate. Service was impeccable and special thanks go to Mustapha and Matty who really looked after us so well. Will definitely be back.

The service and atmosphere was fantastic. The bar manager Taylor made some excellent drinks.mustapha gave us a warm welcome whilst the servers Matt, Becca, Molly and Meg where excellent at helping us select drink and make our final choice.
We had a lovely stay at this hotel. We had a delicious evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast the following morning. Ivana provided us with a fantastic service within the dining area which made us feel like valued customers which really added to our experience. Due to the excellent customer service we received from Ivana, we look forward to visiting again in the near future.
The Mal is my favourite place to stay in Liverpool. Start your day with the best breakfast in town served up by the always smiling and welcoming Ivana and the rest of the staff who go that extra mile to make your day start brightly. Highly recommend
Visited here tonight and it was absolutely fab. Food was delicious, setting is gorgeous and the staff are so lovely and friendly.
Best truffle fries we’ve had and the steak and cocktails are delicious too.
