Olivia b and her team have made us as welcome as ever! Dog friendly and more people friendly than most chain pubs. Bella looked after us including a dog. We love this place and the warm welcome we receive- today we have ate only snacks but had a fab time delivered by a fab team! Thank you!!!
It was the 1st time visiting this pub. And let’s just say food was piping hot. Service was really good especially from Danny. He is so friendly and chatty. It is so nice that you have a lovely pleasant guy working for you. It was a pleasure to have a chat with him today. Whilst he was serving me my Sunday carvery. We will definitely be coming back
We booked online, which was really easy, got there and shown to our table straight away by a smart young man who was very polite. Food came quickly and we chatted to David, the assistant manager, who is always very friendly and polite. He even came over to check my order was correct, as it was down as coming with salad instead of chips (our mistake as we ordered from the App)

Our first visit to vIkings landing after my original review. I didn’t contact the manager as i was requested to do after a poor experience.
I can say that my wife and i enjoyed our early evening meal, the bar staff and waitress were courteous and attentive, the meals were promptly delivered and were very tasty.
I am glad our recent experience was much better than our earlier visit.

I’ve been to two Christmas afternoon events with entertainment Motown afternoon 7th December, I was unaware there was a set menu, purely my error as I hadn’t read the email properly but the Carvery was not to my taste. The General Manager Phil was extremely accommodating, arranging for me to have Hake plus Potatoes & Vegetables from the Carvery. My party of 4 really enjoyed the afternoon, Food, Service and Entertainment was excellent.
On 14th December I’d arranged for 6 people to attend the 60’s afternoon party, again food, service and entertainment were excellent but 2 people felt it lacked the atmosphere of a Christmas Party, they were uncomfortable that members of the general public were coming in and out to dine although they were guided to a different area. They had expected it to be be in a separate room and all revellers celebrating Christmas. I understand that due to Economic circumstances in the Lockdown followed by the cost of living crisis, the Hospitality sector has suffered more than most, personally, I understand the reason for maximising potential profit but although they enjoyed the afternoon, it was not what they expected.
Booked for 15 family members and was really pleased with the attention we received from the manager to the staff serving us all. All food served in good time and was of a quality standard. Can't wait to return.
A lot of pumps for hand pull, but very few were live, labels saying beer is settling!
We never ate but the food coming past looked ok.
The biggest downside was the horrible smell from the nearby poo recycling works.

£11.80 for a large Shiraz and a pint of Guinness, wanted Merlot but they had run out, mm bit of a theme.

We'd booked a table for 11 to celebrate Mothers Day. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The carvery was also very good. All in all I'd highly recommend the Vikings Landing. *** just a small note to prospective customers with dogs. It says it's dog friendly, however this isn't quite true. You are restricted to outside and a small section. Where we were booked in to eat, no dogs were allowed. So just check if it's OK to bring a dog and have it sat with you***

Came for Sunday dinner with the family. Place had been busy all day and they squeezed us in. Josh C and Esther were looking after our area. The pair of them never stopped and must have cleaned and brushed every inch of the place invetween serving food. Manners on all the staff were excellent and very friendly. Will be back again. Warning.... the carvery is massive and very tasty.
I went here today with my wife and 4yr old son for an early Mother's Day lunch. So impressed as a place for kids. Clean, friendly staff and great food. Go for the Cowboy 🤠 burger! The sweet 'tata fries were hot and loads of 'em. Massively recommended. ✊🏻
The manageress was very helpful and obliging. The bar staff were cheerful and pleasant, unfortunately the same couldn't be said about the food. We have been to the vikings on a number of occasions and been very happy. We were out for my son's birthday and meeting his girlfriends family. A lot of the meals ordered were fine, but unfortunately the people who had ordered the steak - be it on a large mixed grill or on its own were not very happy with it. It looked like it had been sat on the grill for most of the night. Also there was a slight mix up with a couple of the starters.
We spent over £400.00 on food and drinks and it was rather disappointing to say the least

Came for Christmas day, St Patrick's day and Easter Sunday and have never once regretted it! Kids want to come back on Sunday before they go back to school.. nicest carvery in Liverpool by far!

Food was fantastic, went home stuff and probably won’t eat rest of weekend. HaHa.
Came for Christmas Dinner and i can honestly say the food and staff were some of the best we have had. Phil went above and beyond for us and we are more grateful than he knows. We had a large party for a relatives last Christmas but he sadly didn’t make it. It was lovely to be sat together as a family for a nice occasion. the staff were lovely, the food was fab and Phil is amazing and a credit to the place. Thanks everyone. Happy Christmas.
Visited early on a Sunday. Being one of the first customers everything was fresh, very well cooked and presented and lots of vegetable options available. Between the two of us we tried three of the meats on offer and all were nicely cooked and the meat was lean & tasty. Yorkshire Puds were good. Lots of nice sauces and gravy to accompany the main meal. Staff veryhelpful. Ordering food & drinks via App was easy and convenient.
