The Pizza Express is a brilliant place! The taste is and the service are perfect. I was alone, but he gave me a big smile on my face. Did his job with passion and fun. Love to she that.
Oh and the price is cheap. So this is absolutely a gorgeous place for some good food!!

Looked for somewhere to eat and came across this place first. Love pizza so we wandered in. Food looked lovely. Looked at menu and chose what we wanted. Ordered drinks. AT £6 plus a drink it's too expensive sorry. This is Liverpool. Not London. Food was top notch. No complaints there.
All in all a lovely meal. Just spoilt it a bit with the drinks. Think we'll look for somewhere else befor going back. Shame.

Not a chain fan, but when in another city like to keep it safe and avoid any potential food issues. Best Pizza Express I've been to, even better than the one in Liverpool Street London. Efficient servers, good chefs!

Called in to Liverpool city centre branch. hardly anyone in at lunchtime.
Service from member of staff very polite. Food ok. Had a very nice bottle of organic pale ale... not worth £6 plus however !

Pizza is good, especially their tomato sauce. Nom nom. 🙂 The girl who served us Jess was really kind and adorable. Good thing though that we weren't that hungry cuz pizza was kind of small.

Excellent pizza and Italian food place. Not a fast food place, food is well prepared. Pizzas were great with good and unique selections. Try the spicy vegan Mezze.

Ate here at the Liverpool location on our last night before heading back to the States. Pizza was better than expected. No complaints whatsoever and in my book that earns 5 stars.

We've been to this Pizza Express branch before, when staying in Liverpool and headed here again for an early evening meal as we were out anyway.
Everything was really nice. Good service. Good food. A glass of wine. Good coffee to finish.
When we paid;the bill, it just happened that my wife paid on her credit card. The waitress commented that she must be treating me!!! We thought this was quite funny as either of us might normally pay for our meals out as a couple and the waitress, a young woman, seems to be assuming that the man would always pay!!!! All resolved with much laughter. We're obviously, slightly more enlightened that she expected!!!! ;-)
Anyway.... Plenty of good Italian style restaurants here in Liverpool and more than one Pizza Express. Business at the branch seemed to be steady. We'd come again.

My Son Nathan took me for late lunch here today. We both enjoyed the food it was a shame that there wasn't more people in the restaurant it's got a nice quiet laid back atmosphere .the young man Gian who served us was quite nice told us about it being a bank back in the day .worth a visit used my Merecat app 2 for 1.

This particular restaurant is lovely. It is in one of the old bank buildings and is beautiful inside (much nicer than the one in L1). Food is the standard Pizza Express fayre (4 stars).

I'm not one for chain restaurants but you can always count on Pizza Express to deliver a consistent experience no matter where you are. This Liverpool location takes it a step further with great service and a nice atmosphere in a beautifully restored building

A great place to go for a celebration. The atmosphere is good and i havent yet had a better vegan pizza anywhere else. Drink is expensive but thats fairly standard for restaurants.

I've eaten in many Pizza Express restaurants over the past few years. The standard is always pretty good and this branch in Liverpool is no exception. It's been very quiet on both occasions (mid week) I've visited.

The place was empty when I visited on Friday afternoon. The food was quality as usual. The building used to be a bank and has those grand features that typify that (large columns and romanesque boarder coving) really convenient after visiting the Cavern Club

The location is really beautiful and the menu updates are welcomed. Of course I had the pizza and was wonderful as always. More drinks options that are not alcoholic are a little rare but they had done good options to choose from

I live in Johannesburg and come to this Pizza Express every time I am in Liverpool visiting family.<br/><br/>The service is usually quite good (depends on how busy the restaurant is) but when busy it can become mediocre.<br/><br/>The food on the other hand is absolutely delicious. From the dough balls to the pizzas to the salads- everything is just fantastic and always fresh and tasty. My personal favorite is the polenta chips: they are so crispy and flavorsome. <br/><br/>Will be back in December for another visit and looking very forward to it!
