Make sure you go with a reservation because the place gets busy! We had to wait 30 mins on a Monday to get a table for dinner. The staff was really friendly and the plates are full of colour. However it was a little bit too spicy for me!
In the heart of Albert Docks, you'll find Rosa's Thai, a family-run spot serving up Thai cuisine with a dash of local charm.
Nestled in a prime locale, their quick and friendly service will bowl you over faster than you can say 'Pad Thai'!
Their dishes? Well, the flavors played hide-and-seek, providing a decent taste but leaving the palate yearning for more. Prices were a bit steep, possibly owing to the prime neighborhood, but it's part of the package.
Overall, a solid choice for a Thai food adventure, with a little room for that extra flavor bang.
Absolutely fantastic freshly cook authentic Thai food from @rosasthai 🇹🇭
Loved the summer specials menu. We tried the prawn and mango sunshine salad, crispy tamarind duck, spring rolls and of course some sticky rice. Lovely location around Albert Docks too. The staff were super friendly and informative about the menu. Would recommend if you need a spot for lunch. 🍚
Food was absolutely amazing! Probably one of the nicest meals I've ever had. Could not fault it at all. Service was also excellent. Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend!
Our Finnish family went there for a dinner on Saturday evening. We had made a table reservation, which was good as the place was full. The lady welcoming us was really nice and effective. The food was really good also. The service was warm and good although they made too small mistakes with orders, which were fixed immedetially after mentioning. So it did not matter as the waitresses were so nice. Place was quite hectic, but maybe that is part of the thai experience.
Visited for dinner on a busy early Sunday evening as a group of 7. Despite a full restaurant the staff were friendly, efficient and speedy. Food delivery was spot on, starters arrived quickly and then a sensible gap for mains. Food is decent quality, probably on the spicier side compared to some restaurants (though that is clear from the menu), but it felt a bit 'restaurant chain style', more than what you'd get in an independent restaurant. But good value.
Nice ambience and lovely food. The prawn crackers are yumm and food is delicious. I got Tom yumm noodles which is really spicy ( if you can’t take spice stay away) and a cashew chicken and noodles on side. Cashew chicken is slightly sweet( not super sweet). Excellent service. I recommend this place.
Right on the docks, we sat outside and watched the world go by. Good vegan options here and the lady who served us was really informative and friendly. The food was delicious too.
Great location and very friendly, welcoming staff.
Was able to be seated without a reservation in the late afternoon on a Saturday.
Ordered the Passionfruit bubble tea with strawberry boba, which was sweet but otherwise very refreshing.
Only downside was the Pad Kra Prow- it was very soy sauce forward and too salty for my liking, but the rice and added fried egg helped to balance things out.
Would still come again to try other dishes!
We came here on our visit to the royal Albert dock for lunch on a Sunday. We had rosas fried rice with chicken, and Khao Mun chicken & 2 coke zeros. Both were tasty with the Khao Mun chicken having a good spice kick. All this came to approx £32.
Nice friendly service, good setting right on the Albert Dock, and good prices. Casual setting
