I had a burger and chips, i went for the chicken burger which was really tasty. For £5 you get the chicken burger with chips. Very fast service, clean shop and you can see all prices, food clearly.
Very good local fish and chips and a varied menu. Chips hit and miss due the the way they are cut and cooked. Uneven shapes which means some chips contained within the portion are not crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

Steves is a car ride from our house so not our local chippy but definitely the best. Friday night is fish n chip night & we always get fresh high quality fish n’ chips. Staff are great too & the shop is always spotless 👍
Got fish and chips from here good portion size and quality isn't too bad but one bad thing is cash only which I had to go and find a cash machine.
By far the best mushy peas in town can be found at Steve’s! I will be returning constantly.
Remarkably good. Singapore fried rice was probably one of the best I have had. Takeaways can be a bit hit and miss but Steve's is definitely one that I would return to. Good quality and good value.
Brilliant chip shop probably the best food in the city ! The staff are really pleasant and always willing to help and provide a great service, this is one of those places you have to visit and taste their food you won't be disappointed.

The chips needed more salt and vinegar and I didn't get tartar sauce or a lemon, but that's my fault for not asking.

Fantastic chippy. Huge selection of dishes from traditional fish and chips to kebabs and Chinese dishes. Has a kids menu with toys too.

Finally the right place at the right time to try Steve’s Fish & Chips and we were not disappointed. Lunch time visit, so not too busy but plenty of space to social distance. The chips were excellent and a great portion size, especially as we got the small for 2 to share. The fish was very tasty and
Steves chippy is head and tails above rest. The food is sensational and the burgers are the best burgers I have honestly ever had. Beautiful Greek and Chinese meals, fresh salads and fabulous array of sauces not to mention drinks. Highly recommended 👌
