OK so the atmosphere isn't amazing but the food is consistently excellent.
This place is a deserved Liverpool legend. Dang good & very reasonably priced.

Probably the best Chinese restaurant experience I've had in the UK. Food was delicious and the staff were super friendly, and very polite. Would return if I was in the neighbourhood.

Maybe some of the interior is old but it's well kept . I call it clean old . Food is good . I wish it would open again soon. I don't like to see businesses close down.

One of best chinese in Liverpool food is brilliant and very friendly staff all covid alert and social distancing in place,have been lots of times and will go again,there are pubs close bye off Berry street 4 a pint b4 meal Derek moores 🍺 liverpool in tier 2 so restaurant is open again i hope 😇🍻🎅

A pot of chinese tea, prawn crackers, chicken and sweetcorn soup, ribs, egg fried rice, char sui bean sprouts and a chicken and mushroom dish all for £12. Nice food, no frills, great value.

I love the Ma Bo! Housed in Georgian China town, the decor hasn't changed for decades. The food is superb home cooking style, generous portions and inexpensive. We took some champagne and had a really fun dinner.
