Food: The food was delightful. For a pub meal, it was definitely beyond my expectations. I had the chicken club baguette with some chips. Cannot fault it at all. If there was to be any critasism, I'd say the chips needed something. Maybe a little seasoning.
Staff: On both
An excellent service. The fish and cod (chip shop platter) was phenomenal. And we overpaid, but the waiter noticed this and gave us our money back even though we didn't even notice that we had overpaid. That is really GOOD service!
Also very good prices!
We just happened to pop in on wednesday 23rd August 2023 for a quick drink and ended up there til it closed!!
The service was excellent and the food was very good and served quickly.

Good sized city centre pub decent cheap beer and food and open late.Never going to have the best atmosphere but it's OK for breakfast, lunch or tea or just for beers .has a roof terrace that was closed during my visit unfortunately all in all a nice place to eat or drink

The steak and fries looks very dry in the picture I know, we contacted the staff and they replaced the dish right away, they were super helpful and kind. everything else was Great, it has a great pub atmosphere, it's kind of cheap compared to everything around, not the most family friendly place as
Been here for a quick meal x 3 times now whilst in Liverpool. Decent food with good service and certainly can't beat the price. Knocked 1 star off as the eating area (raised area at the back of the pub) seemed tired and scruffy last time we went. Furniture and decor not very clean menu cards needed
I would like to thank Sosha and Josh for taking such good care of us when my daughter had a seizure after her dinner. Thank you for carrying A'lyse up all those stairs, it really meant a lot to us. Amazing staff and thank you to other customers who came over to offer help. The food was lovely too
Came here on the 10th of September after the MTT bus running we ordered a caroline reaper burger and a bacon and cheese burger both meals came with a drink included so we had two pints of moretti the food came quickly and was well presented I should warn you the caroline reaper burger catches you o

A very loud and noisy pub if eating in the evening but a good place for a drink. Food and drinks ordered via the app, came quickly and tasted good. Toilets ECT available.
