My favourite ever restaurant, I have been going for over 20 years, fab food, best ribs and hot and sour soup, the beef mushroom melts in your mouth and the bbq sauce is to die for, staff are lovely
My family, friends and I have regularly visited the Ying Wah over the years and last week we had a surprise meal for my husbands 40th birthday. The service and food were fab as usual and Simon was a great help in the preparations for the evening. Would recommend to anyone wanting a function of any kind or just a nice meal out!
Lovely food and the staff was great me little boy is a fussy eater so didn't think he would eat the food but even sed it's the best he ever had so defo be coming back

Not been for years and just made the early doors menu at 7.25 on a Friday night. Great 3 meal banquet with soup ribs and duck.. even ice cream to finish..great value and all tastes really nice. Will defo be heading back soon.

Visited here with my friend, we had banquet B and it was gorgeous really enjoyed the meal. The staff were polite & friendly and nothing was a trouble to them. Well done everyone had the Ying Wah. If you do visit ensure you book a table in advance as it gets very busy. Definatley coming back

My favourite Chinese restaurant when we come to Liverpool to visit family. Food is fresh, tasty and served well presented, the restaurant and bar area is clean, great atmosphere and everyone seems to be enjoying there time there. My son loves this place especially the sizzling steak in Cantonese sauce its all he goes on about for days after being here. Generous portions and the wine is top too. Thank you will be visiting again
One of the best chinese restaurants outside of Chinatown. The food is superb and of the highest quality. Portion sizes are perfect. I highly recommend the Beef in Black Bean sauce. The Dim Sum starters are amazingly good too.
Been going to the Ying Wah for years, we had a take away last week on collection and it was fantastic! Lovely staff, a staple of woolton for sure!
Edit: we've actually been back and the new restaurant is amazing after the renovation! It's comfy, welcoming and stylish! The menus are easy to read with great helpful staff, would 100 recommend!
Went for a meal party of six 3 couples. Food was really nice and the service was also very good. All 6 said it was really nice and would definitely eat at this restaurant again

Amazing authentic Cantonese food along with all the other oriental flavours.
Great friendly staff members that are down to earth and will solve any issues you have promptly and are very attentive. Quick service.
The restaurant also doubles as a bar in the evening with knowledgeable cocktail staff on from 3pm. Highly recommend for food or drinks if you are passing by.
Had a lovely meal here yesterday. I was a bit cautious after reading mixed reviews on here. But the service was excellent ( no service charge on the bill). The food was delicious ...ribs, sweet and sour prawns. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was my husband thought his main meal portion was a bit small. Mine was fine.
It was Monday night and it was very busy. We'll be back.

I took wortip like a starter and roasted duck with orange sauce. It was awesome! I suggest it if you want a traditional Chinese meal!
Yes its worth a visit its welcoming relaxed with a pleasant atmosphere,food was very nice ,will visit again.
Food was lovely and came out as we wanted it. They did a different meal for my son as he likes plain food. Good service and clean. Been here many times.👍
