Perfect!. I have been coming to this place for years and it will forever be my favourite Chinese food. Literally can not fault a thing. I have tried a great deal of the menu and every time I try something new it is just as good! Highly recommend, especially the salt & pepper squid.
It is by far my fave Chinese resturaunt! You cannot go wrong if you choose this resturaunt!
This place is sick!!! Sick in a good way aswell sweeettt
Best Chinese in Liverpool. Great taste without the MSG overdose.
Food is fab!! Everything about it is lvly!!
Boss, ledgendary place to the men!!!
For a dim sum lunch in Liverpool there are only really two restaurants I would consider, Mei Mei on Berry Street by the bombed out church (St Lukes for the out of towners) and Tai Pan further out from the centre on Great Howard Street. The beauty of dim sum is that it is a sharing affair and is best enjoyed in large groups which allows for more dishes to be ordered. Portions of dumplings usually come with four pieces, although more upscale Chinese restaurants may serve in portions of three or even allow you to order each piece individually as in the case of A Wong . Siu mai – prawn and pork dumplings Har gau – prawn dumplings in a translucent case Shanghai dumplings, not on the level of those I've tried at Din Tai Fung in Hong Kong but decent Whelks in satay sauce - a childhood favourite Churn fan – silky smooth rice rolls which come in a range of fillings, fried dough, char siu and beef are generally our picks Fried churn fun and turnip cakes coated in XO sauce (made with dried scall
Out of expectation as the portion is very generous, enough to feed 1.5 person for a rice/ noodles dish.
The 焗飯is really impressive as a lot of details can be found for this. Fried rice base, instead of plain white rice. A lot of seafood, which has been cooked/ fried and seasoned with flavour. Then the rice is baked for a crispy taste.

Day trip to Liverpool and fancied eating in the famous China Town area. This restaurant is just on the edge of it and was REALLY busy, always a good sign. Despite how busy they were, the service was fairly fast. The food is great, good value and generous portions. Will definitely visit again next time we are in Liverpool.
This place is incredible.
Great location.
Friendly staff.
Tasty food with so much variety.
If you just want a fuss free with no gimmick Chinese.
Here's your place.
We ordered curried fish balls, dim sum siu mai which were huge, roast pork, roast duck char sui on a bed of crispy noodles and wonton noodles.
Knocking off a staff as there weren't accessible toilets, up some steep stairs.
Will definitely visit again.
First time dining here, but wont be the last! Service was excellent, the food was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly :-)
Pretty typical Chinese restaurant in the heart of Liverpool. Service great, and pretty quick. Been here many times and every time it’s been a great experience. The menu is great, not the cheapest however it’s not too expensive. There are great choices of starters, which are absolutely delicious. The mains are also good, however I usually order many starters which fill me up. The atmosphere is pretty good, with a lot of space so not much worry on whether you will get a table or not.
Probably the best sweet and sour king prawns in the UNIVERSE. They, to my palate are just fabulous❤️❤️❤️
I ate at mei mei many time Good foods and service
My son and I had a very nice dinner. Service was good, food was good, and there were many large groups having a great time. One large open dining room was a bit noisy. We ordered the fixed meal and enjoyed everything. Service was well paced for a relaxed, long dinner.
XO udon noodles are my absolute favourite - 100% recommend
One of the best chinese sit down kinda restaurant in the country, i might say. The roast duck was stunning, lovely spice and tenderness of the duck meat. Great service, the staffs were very attentive and quick response to most of things :)
