Great little pub, one of the places that's if you know about it, then you know. Hidden away off Hope Street , it has a decent selection of ale and many worth a try (I went for a pint of 'Release the Pressure from Nightjar Bew Co - very nice!). Now, it is a small pub, I usually visit in the summer wh
Great little find off the busy streets of Liverpool. Cosy little pub, welcoming staff and plenty of beer to choose from
Lovely pub. Small, cozy and a true hidden gem! Part of the world famous Pirate Map Pub Crawl and one of the best in Liverpool. The pint of Budvar was superb and the glass it came in was πŸ™Œ I didn't have one this time, but in winter I'm fond of their awesome pork pies πŸ₯§ Also - VERY good, clean toi
Memories from previous visits in the late 1970s. Still the same atmosphere with a good selection of cask beers. Also enjoyed the pork and blackpudding pie. My friends on their first visit, said they will also return.
What a lovely little boozer in the middle of a lovely city. Top service from a brilliant bartender (Libby I think), great cask snx keg choices. Can't wait to come back, definitely my city centre pub of choice.
Came here after a night in the Phil. Lovely young lady from York helped my wife choose an excellent red, she was very knowledgeable and I had a few pints of local beer. Great beer, great wine and friendly staff.
Characterful pub with an excellent selection of cask, keg and bottled beers. There's a great selection of spirits as well, delicious cold pies and lovely knowledgeable staff
Listed grand ll. Bar+ side room + rooms upstairs + outside seating. Sliding sach windows in the bar+ etched glass very good beer and staff w c spotless.
Very nice pub indeed, even have the wood burning fire on during the week when its quiet, makes you want to stay and get another pint πŸ˜€
Lovely little pub,in a little cul- de- sac it has been modified recently and now has upstairs rooms as downstairs can get a bit full of an evening. Not a lot of space but very cosy on a winters day when they light the fire up. Good range of real ales, nice staff and friendly locals ..
Popped in for a quick pint lovely small pub great atmosphere and a wide range of beers to choose from and also had a singer on
In forty years of drinking in Liverpool pubs, this is by far my favourite pub. Great real ales and great service and the extra rooms upstairs mean there’s plenty of room for everyone πŸ‘πŸ»
Brilliant iconic Liverpool pub with great atmosphere and very friendly staff.
Really nice pub with a cosy welcoming atmosphere
Hard to find little pub on the outskirts of the city centre. Nice selection of beers and gins. We called in in the daytime midweek so it was quiet but its worth a visit if you can find it πŸ˜‰ and quite lively at the weekend.
A Good , friendly, old fashioned pub . Tucked away in the Georgian Quarter .
Good real ale pub, small, basic and plenty of character. ⁹
Loved this place just off Falkner Street , friendly locals and a nice fire , good selection of real ales and apparently very good for various gins. Certainly would recommend , a typical Camra style pub.
