We had a lovely meal for mothers day , all serviced at the same time , 16 of us. Very good service , lovely staff and very reasonable prices. We will be going again . Thanks Bootle arms .
Lovely staff and food. Been here many times and never been disappointed. I love the dog friendly ethos. The only tiny thing is because its so big sometimes it can be a bit cold without the heating on but that on its own wouldn't put me off. I'm already looking forward to our next visit.
What a lovely discovery this pub is!! I loved the decor so much and the William Morris wallpaper all around! I bet the place looks so cosy around Christmas time.
Food was very good and it was nicely washed down with a refreshing beer. Staff were great. Special mention to Jack whose service was impeccable, such a professional and incredibly polite waiter. We will definitely visit soon. Thank you
The 3 of us went there yesterday. Really lovely atmosphere. The music wasn't too loud and the prices were amazing! We paid £80 for 3 of us to have 2 meals and a side each. Very good!
The staff were really nice. There was a minor error on the order and they sorted it out very quickly. Overall, very happy indeed!
I visited here in February, the food was nice but the service was a bit uo and down with some members of our party having had already had their food before some had even been served theirs. However this was for 20+ of us so you kind of have to understand that it is tough to accommodate for that many people.
I decided to give them the benefit if the doubt and try here again. Me and my girlfriend loved it. We had a Sunday roast each, the food was very nice, the service was great and it wasn't too badly priced.
The pub itself is nice, with a decent sized beer garden and a kids play area.
We would like to visit again to try different meals as their menu is good with plenty to choose from.
On arrival we were greeted with a smile and asked were we would like to sit. We ordered drinks and the waiter came back and took our order. The waiter Shaun was very polite and professional. After we had paid the bill Shaun said have a lovely evening ladies and I hope we see you again soon. We were asked while eating our food if everything was ok. Which it was.

all of our table couldn’t compliment Jack enough. His customer service was 5* and he checked consistently to ensure our needs were met. He asked if we needed drinks and made our afternoon such a pleasant one. Recommend this place. superb!
Sitting here now after eating an amazing meal. Served by a wonderful employee called Hannah. The epitome of service with a smile. Truly exceptional, she made us feel valued and attentively listened to our needs. Food was delicious and extremely fresh. Wonderful. 100% would advise anyone to eat here.
Lovely place, nice and clean. Jack who i met last time had not long started working here, he is a lovely lad very caring and does his job very well, keep up the good work Jack you will go along way. It was lovely to see him again last night and have a little chat with him.
I visited with a friend a few weeks ago and we had a great time. The food was delicious, very nice atmosphere but I have to make mention of Shaun for the service. He was incredible and made us feel so welcome, nothing seemed to much to ask and he kept checking on us. Well done for the staff you have!! Will def come back! :)
Went to The Bootle Arms with my friend and her Grandson ( 6 ). Pub is lovely , spotlessly clean and has a playground in the back , which the little one was made up with ! Greeted by a lovely man who seated us then brought our drinks. Food we ordered was excellent . I had the best burger i have ever had , perfectly cooked by Amy the chef. My friend had gammon and child had chicken dippers. All gorgeous. Dessert was lovely too. All served quickly.
Delicious 😋 No hesitation in going there again. 10/10.
