Popped in for a couple of beers following match at Goodison Park. Good beer selection, quickly served and a great post match atmosphere with both Everton and Liverpool supporters watching a live match on Sky Sports.
I love this place ❤️. Is just 5 min from ours. Clare is always smiling and joking so lovely girl and Anthony is role model for perfect customer service: always helpful and nothing is too much trouble. This place is heaven on earth and must visit management and staff will make you feel welcome more
Since Bootle's Wild Rose has changed ownership with higher food prices, I tried this pub.
More glass means it's a lighter pub in the main (is it chilly in winter, I wonder), friendly staff, and the afternoon food deals (14:00-17:00) worth checking.

Called here before Everton v Newcastle United. Its probably my 4th visit! The usual quality real ales and food was on offer. Home and away fans were happily drinking and eating together. It's a large pub, but gets very busy on match days!
Great place for a match day. Get there early if you want a seat.
