World Museum's Cafe - Liverpool - Photo album

Amazing place! Definitely requires patience when using the lift because there's only two but considering the place is free is definitely worth visiting. Staff were helpful and friendly and has a lot of interesting things to look at and is a great place for kids! Parking situation is dire and expensi
Very nice museum, walking distance from Lime Street railway station. Extra like: they have a little wildflower meadow to help pollinators. The planetarium wasn't open due to a technical problem, but the rest was great. Each storey has a different theme: space and time, dinosaurs and prehistoric li
Amazing, we paid for the planetarium which was awesome (maybe too relaxing🤣) we paid to see the war of the gods exhibition too, but that was far too much money for the 20 minutes it took to wall around, it really wasn't worth the 16 for 2 adults, at least the kids were free! But all in all its an a
I visited this museum only to see the aquarium. Owing to time constraints, I was unable to see anything else and I enjoyed what I saw. The only suggestion that I have would be to have at least one member of staff to monitor this section of the museum. I noticed one or two people (namely adults) who
Great museum, free entrance, kids and adults really enjoyed every floor. The only issue was the lift, it wasn't just being used for those that were unable to use the stairs which then meant those who had to use the lifts were waiting quite a while to get on. Would definitely recommend for all ages.
This museum is free to enter, so please donate a little something when you are inside. 4 floors of exhibits , which are always changing, from space exploration to ancient Egypt. We'll worth a visit to pass a few hours away. Several exhibitions were tickets only and were getting busy, unfortunately
Great museum. Exhibitions are over 5 floors and Still operating a one way system up and down the stairs (or may be they just hadn't removed the stickers) but it flowed well. I only saw one lift and there were queues on every floor. Exhibitions were good. Had to pay to see some of them but was able t
A very big building but many of the exhibits were a bit underwhelming. The Egyptian part was probably the best. Some of the lights didn't work and people used the lift for anything. We had a pram and really needed the lift, but at times it was just unavailable.
What a fantastic little museum, with a bit of everything that kids have loved for decades, from ancient Egyptian mummies to even more ancient dinosaurs, to a planetarium to see above the planet and an aquarium to see the depths below. I would comment on the cost of the cafe, but the midterm is free,
Beautiful building and free to enter, although donations are appreciated. Fun little aquarium and the eygytian exhibition was amazing. A bit thin on the "dinosaur" section as its more of a generic 'animals of the earth' section but otherwise very good!
Visited the museum this week and loved it! There's so much to do and see, I was pleasantly surprised how many floors the museum has! I especially loved the large Egyptian mummy exhibit, and the aquarium. The cafe was also very good with lots of seating and food options. Finding toilets was a little
I liked world museum and would go again on a rainy day. There is a cafe and plenty of toilets too. They are clean regularly. The best part is the aquarium on the first level. What a joy to see the fish. I liked the moon jellyfish the most. Free entrance but a £5 donation is very welcomed. Good
Fantastic museum with plenty to see. They ask for a voluntary donation of £5 for entry. Some of the areas not very modern and the items on display are really fascinating. I think the only areas that let the place down are the dinosaur and space exhibitions as they haven't changed much at all in 20 y
An interesting museum with exhibitions regarding marine biology, natural history, astronomy, theology, Egypt and 18th & 19th centuries orientalism. I would recommend to visit the museum after 3pm on a weekday because of the otherwise prevalence of large groups of children. The lighting on some displ
Nice place to learn a bit of history. May need a whole day to go through all exhibits. They are open even on public holidays during the school holiday period . Kids really enjoyed the visit. Egyptians' mummy section is really good. There are a couple of car parks around the museum building. Free ent
Been visiting here for years and it's a great free day out to spend with the kids, for couple or even groups of friends. The dinosaur and aquarium floors are definitely our favourites
Loved the museum, over 5 floors of exciting history!! Great shop at the end too and there are toilets on each level.
World museum is placed over 5 floors. Museums are free of charge and donation of £5 (or anything you wish) are welcome. Each floor has a different exhibitions. On 5th floor is planetarium, you can buy tickets from reception desk to attend planetarium show if you are interested. Museum has both cafe
