Excellent food and nice staff, it was a bit empty but the food came quickly and the restaurant had a chill atmosphere.
Beautiful fresh Italian food, nice surroundings and great price. Starter to share, 2 nice mains and 4 beers £45. Spot on.
Bit quiet but it was late. Food was great, my seafood rissoto had plenty of seafood in it and was cooked really well.
Been here twice now and both times we have had great service

Beautiful restaurant with beautiful staff. Lovely warm atmosphere. Our meals were all excellent, fish, steak, pizza etc ( approx 14 people). Authentically Italian. We all felt very welcome and very well looked after. Our complimentary cake and congratulations was a lovely touch. Giuseppe, well all I can say is Perfezionare!!! We will be visiting again.

I have been here a couple of times with my wife on Thursday (1/2 price steak night), I have had a lovely meal each time. Excellent food for a reasonable price and the waiters are happy to serve without being over attentive. Give the place a try people.
Me and my mom got greeted as soon as we walked in the gorgeous building. They sat us down straight away and we ordered drinks and food, which arrived at the table in a matter of minutes! The food was delicious and I definitely recommend this place. We will be going here again :) (we had the spaghetti marinara and the penne carbonara)

Been a couple of times of recent and it's been great fun! Wide selection on offer in their menu and they have been fantastic in dealing with our large groups every need. The staff are so friendly :) Enjoyed the food and stayed here late into the night with their onsite bar too!
It was quiet, you could have a conversation. The food was tasty and well prepared. There was plenty of choice and the service was good. Great lunch time place.

Prego is a funny old place. It's not in a particularly convenient location and every time I've been it's always empty. I do wonder how its managed to stay open as long as it has. That said, all the times I have been there it has been great. The food has always been delicious, the prices are fair and the decor is fantastic, particularly the tree covered in fairy lights which forms the centrepiece of the restaurant. The restaurant is run and staffed by Italians which adds to the authenticity of the experience. The team at the restaurant have a very passionate approach to what they do. I've frequently heard the guys seemingly shouting at each other behind the bar as well as occasionally disagreeing with customers (sometimes equally as passionately). I get that wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea but for me again it adds to the authenticity and shows these guys care deeply about what they do. All in all I'd recommend Prego particularly if youre looking for somewhere to eat whilst shopping at the nearby retail park. 10 times better than the nearby frankie and bennys and a fraction of the price to boot.
Food absolutely beautiful and presentation of it, very friendly staff .. would highly recommend going if you've not been, will definitely be going back.
