What an absolute belter of a place, great staff, atmosphere,everyone is super friendly and the rooms are very comfy. Pity the place didn't do food but you can order a takeaway & have it delivered to you. Cheap & cheerful. Definitely going bk again

Nice little pub full of characters, lived in old terrest house in Abbey street next to this pub until 1966 then aged 10, moved out to Norris green after demolition of all houses in that area, it's a lovely park now.

I was here for a 'wake' of an old friend. This place was brilliant, from the staff, to the buffet. Really clean and no waiting to be served. I hope to call there again under different circumstances.

amazing local pub, friendly staff, great atmosphere, entertainment was brilliant on 2 sundays, wayne ireland singer and beverley george singer, clean venue and toilets, loads to choose from at the bar including buckfast, well worth a visit
Just back from a great weekend attending the Everton game and socialising with friends. First time staying here and wouldn't stay anywhere else in the future. The owner and staff just couldn't do enough for you and a great friendly environment. Also very handy to town and the local football stadiums
