Ace ......Sunday vibe didn't have any food pity next tyme .....super koool vibes groups or solo you can have fun no pressure to move on so you can read that book on French existentialism after all...nice one x 😉

Best alt pub in the area. Lovely staff and great atmosphere, they have a fantastic selection of craft drinks. They even sell PBR American classic.
What I love the most about this place is the gluten free range.
Difficult to get gluten free stout and crafts in most Bars Pubs, usually have to settle for a depressing GF peroni or no beer.
They have also recenty started serving GF food and snacks which is even better. All you GF people can relate. It can be difficult eating out it's so refreshing to see more places introducing GF range stoked!

Really great little place to spend NYE. Relaxed place to meet with friends and have a drink. Found ourselves a table in a corner before it got too busy and enjoyed ourselves a range of drinks - beer, ale, stout, negronis, espresso martini. Friendly staff, decent folks on the door, and a good atmosphere.

My go to pub on smithdown. Quiz usually every Wednesday and Sunday, and pints from a crisp house lager to any craft preference you could imagine. Good place to try new flavours if you're so inclined and their partnership with Basha next door for food was a game changer

Black Cat is hands down my favourite bar on Smithdown Road. It's got everything you could want from a local.
Great and ever changing selection of ales, lagers and gins. Food available from Basha next door. Two excellent pub quizzes on a Wednesday & a Sunday (booking a table via their website is advised, it's very popular).
Loads of seating areas, sport shown on multiple TVs and the bar staff are a delight. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Great selection of drinks and friendly staff. They allowed us to bring our pizza from Little Furnace (next door) in with us. Nice atmosphere and there are always folks who are up for a chat there.
