First National Wine Bar - Liverpool - Photo album

Like so many pubs and bars these days, the Old Bank is quite literally an old bank. A grand building with a lot of old features, presumably kept or leftover from when the building was actually a bank. High ceilings, big old windows and a grand central bar area with seating to three sides. I've said
First time trying the dish 'Scouse' and I am glad I did, I understand it's a staple of the Liverpool food scene. I was searching for a bowl of this hearty stew all over and couldn't find any, until I by chance stumble across the Old Bank. Washing it down with a very good pint of Guinness I was more

Service is a little slow. They may be understaffed. The food was delicious and the prices are very reasonable.
Just popped in for a quick drink however we decided to have something to eat. With it being Sunday, the Sunday roast was chosen. We'll, I have to say, it was bloody lovely. Tasty, nice and fresh and plenty if it. Reasonably priced too at £10.00. Would highly recommend.
