Childwall Abbey Hotel - Liverpool - Photo album

Didn't have the food so I can't comment but everything about this place was great, Jordan was a fantastic member of staff
Just popped in last Sunday for a late lunch. Wasn’t looking for a traditional Sunday lunch so chose from the main menu. Food was good, reasonably priced and served in a relaxed and friendly manner. Wanted to mention that Nikki Williamson was particularly helpful and friendly.
Boss pub with a boss atmosphere. Been in a good few times now, usually on a Tuesday for the poker nights and thoroughly enjoy it. Other customers in there seem lovely, but what makes it great for us is that the food is top notch, and the bar staff are great, especially Amy, who is very attentive and
Dave and Sarah were so welcoming from the moment we stepped in the door, thought it was great that dogs were allowed in and made a fuss of! Would definitely recommend the food as well, delicious, hot and came quickly! 10/10
Fantastic pub with excellent pub food. OK, it's cheaper to goto Toby and get bigger, but you don't get the location and the history Childwall Abbey has. Great service, great pub food, great choice. Puddings are great. Did I say its great? Sherry trifle, apple crumble omg salivating again!
Great place for breakfast and lunch and dinner. You get a very warm welcome off all the staff but I will particularly make a mention of Amy the bar lady she is super friendly and has a nothings a problem attitude. Amy is a absolute credit to the abbey pub and is never backwards in flashing her warm
I don’t often leave reviews, but I feel compelled to for the Childwall Abbey Hotel. My husband and I were driving past and thought we would pop in for some breakfast. We couldn’t seem to get in, and the weather was awful so I said that we should just leave, but someone saw us through the window. A y
Love this pub! Dave and Sarah are amazing hosts, nothing is too much trouble. The Sunday roast is wonderful, I'm happy as they cater for vegans.
Good local pub with lots of character. Great bear garden and some ok kids play equipment although adding to and updating these is long overdue. Has a bowls club as well. Good range of quality beers and decent parking across the road. Always a good number of people here and a good atmosphere. Dogs we
Beautiful pub/inn with a church across the road and great view. Friendly staff, comfy beds and good drinks. Picked for proximity to Liverpool Hope University we checked in extremely late thanks to the gracious staff (normally it’s 9!) and had a lovely chat enjoying a drink after a long drive. The
Bar service is prompt and efficient by polite, cheerful knowledgeable and friendly staff. Amy is normally behind the bar when we visit and always seems glad to see us, remembering our orders.
After a hard day at work. Amy and Charlie have served me with a pint and their service has been exceptional. They spoke to me and I have had a laugh with them. They are asset to the public house. The landlord Dave should be proud.
Lovely little pub. The food is really good and tasty! The staff are so friendly. There's a nice little function room at the side which is good for events.
Stayed last night whilst visiting relatives nearby. The building is old and could do with a bit of maintenance but the general ambiance of the establishment more than makes up for the small faults. On a really plus side - the beds are wonderfully comfortable. The staff are extremely nice and helpfu
I stopped in for something to eat and had a wonderful server called Jordan, she was very friendly and made me feel very welcome in the pub. Will definitely be back!
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal earlier this afternoon. Great service, good food and hurray hot plates. 10 out of 10. Thank you.
Wonderful old style pub with reasonable prices. Food was delicious and the waitress was a gem, in fact all the staff were polite and cheery. Will definitely be back soon.
