Not necessarily the food deserves 5 star but the STAFF! Average pub food - nothing wrong with that. Me and my partner visited last Sunday, at the busiest time. Unfortunately couldn't find anything gluten free on the menu, so asked a staff member (lady). Seriously, never experienced even in a 5 star restaurant that kindness, care and help what she offered. She's gone though options what I prefer etc, I was just surprised. She took my gluten free roast dinner to my table - she personally selected everything for me and the chef gave me the vegetables straight from the kitchen.. I didn't feel well, I'm struggling with cancer at the moment, they offered a quiet table, by the pizza bar.. Unfortunately we couldn't say thank you for the staff because they were very busy... But from here: YOU'RE A CREDIT in this industry, thank you so much. 🙏🙏🙏❤️
Nice family atmosphere, chefs stingy on the carvery meat, front of house staff make the place as good as it is, mojitos are one of the best in Liverpool
Michelle was extremely pleasant and helped us back to our table with our carveries. The gent who served us at the carvery was friendly and very accommodating. Can't wait to visit again.

Visited tonight with family and had a meat feast calzone. Enjoyed every bit of it. Had to thank the lady who cooked it because I enjoyed it that much. Staff on the bar serving were extremely friendly and welcoming
I was there yesterday with family, having food, we were served by Charlie, who was just so lovely, we were also seen to by Adam who was also really lovely. The food was really nice, big thanks to whoever cooked my food as it was spot on! 👌🏼
This place had the nicest roast dinner and the loveliest staff I've ever experienced since coming to the UK, they have a breakfast menu as well, am looking forward to trying it after the splendid meal I've had here ! 10/10
The front of house and bar staff are lovely. Me and my family had a great experience. The food was amazing We'll definitely be coming again.
Popped in on Friday and karaoke was on. Ended up staying longer than intended with friends for drinks. Had a right good laugh. Will be popping back for quiz night on Wednesday and back again for karaoke!
