off the bat, there was so much variety for drinks - some of which i’ve never seen before in a restaurant! i especially enjoyed the taro red bean, which we got hot so it was perfect for the rainy day. the coffee was great too, as it was served with the drip filter for maximum strength💥
bành cuón is quite hard to find and even harder to get right so i was quite nervous ordering it but absolutely zero regrets. the filling and the nuoc mam gave it a great savoury and umami flavour, but it was actually the texture which won my heart bc it was perfectly thin and so silky! i was also pleasantly surprised by how crispy the fried starters were without being greasy at all🤯 there wasn't much (garlic) flavour in the fried chicken though so i would skip that next time.
another standout was their special pho! even from just a sip of the broth, you could taste the meat, herbs and spices that went into it. there was so much in it too - chicken, multiple cuts of beef and meat balls! they even very kindly topped up our bowl with more piping hot broth when it cooled down🥹 discovering this spot was both a blessing and a curse bc i don’t even live in liverpool but i would gladly travel JUST to eat here again!
Really good Vietnamese restaurant. You need to order and pay at the bar, which is a bit inconvenient (even more when you're trying to share food and want to split the bill). But otherwise everything is great. The food is amazing, and there's sooo much of it for a great value.
Delicious vietnamese food and reasonable prices. We had the noodle salad, bahn mi and pho. They were all really good and all very good portions. The bubble tea was amazing too. Highly recommend.
Arguably best tasting Pho in Liverpool (and Manchester as well 😂)
The Pho Bo (beef pho) is very tasty and comes in a big portion. The spring and summer rolls are delicious also.
Came back many many times to this place. Hot bowl of pho is the best thing you could have on a cold day.
I heard about Doux Chaton through friends and family and I knew I had to try and I can honestly say it did not disappoint! Coming from a Vietnamese/Chinese background I can hand on my heart say the food tastes like home. The atmosphere was on point and the restaurant was full (rightly so) the staff were so polite and accommodating making sure we had all our condiments, chops sticks any extra garnishes. I’m still dreaming about the food now. I WILL be back! Everyone needs to experience Doux Chaton in their life.
This is one of my favourite go to places for a delicious meal. The food is fantastic and the staff are lovely. It can be very busy but the atmosphere is brilliant, a great place to go on your own or with others. The Bahn Mi is my favourite but sells out if you're not quick enough!

Unfortunately I don’t have any photos to share as I have finished it all. I Ordered the fried rice Com Rang and it’s absolutely amazing. It’s available in Tofu or Chicken (I had a pork version as a special request). Seasoned very well and cooked near to perfection it also provided with such generous portions (Good for the hungry ones). No complaints, I have been coming here since it opened and it never fails to serve such pleasure. Hats off to the chefs and the team! You’re all amazing!

Incredible! Exquisite, very authentic Vietnamese food. Fantastic service. The spring rolls are sublime, the phố is pitch perfect. This is easily the go to Vietnamese restaurant in the northwest. If you do one single thing in Liverpool, go here
I've been here 21 times since February 2022, and this is some of the best food I've ever ate, and the prices are great, too.
You can get a bowl of Pho or Bun Bo Hue for £7.50 while most other places nearby charge over £11, and you get generous portion sizes here too.
The Bun Bo Hue is one of their best meals and has an amazing "strong but subtle" taste that will leave wanting to come back.
The Pho is deliciously authentic and the noodles have a perfect texture. The Bahn Mi is loaded with food and flavour and is a bigger portion than expected.
The Bubble Tea tastes amazing and is better than most dedicated Bubble Tea shops.
Overall, the food is unbeatable, the atmosphere is nice, and the service is geat. This family run restaurant is perfect for dates too.
I'm definitely going back another 21 times. 🥢🍜

Authentic Vietnamese!
Really unreal portion sizes, the Pho mega bowl is so worth it (and isn’t even expensive, you just can’t not get it haha). Broth is spot on, but the must buy are the summer rolls. So fresh!
Bubble tea is lovely! Bring cash and you’ll get a discount.
Can't recommend this little gem of a restaurant highly enough. Fantastic Vietnamese food at very reasonable prices and the staff are lovely. Beware: portions are huge.

My favourite restaurant in Liverpool. A relaxed spot where you can usually drop in without a booking. The staff are really helpful if you want to know more about a dish you haven’t tried - I usually go for viet spring rolls, the banh cuon steamed rolls and a noodle salad but everything is always delicious. There are lots of condiments on the table for you to flavour things how you like it. I also recommend the bubble teas and the vietnamese iced coffee, so good!
First visit and the food was great! we had Pork belly and King prawns spring rolls as starters, and big bowl of Beef Pho and Banh Xeo. All very filling and very healthy! IMO the Pho is better and good size than most viet restaurants in the city centre. The staff were very nice and the price is good for the amount of food you get! I hope they'll have more options soon!
Great selections of Vietnamese dishes on the menu. Their Pho special was delicious and definitely can share between two people. The pork chop was okay. However, I felt it overcooked slightly. Otherwise, it will be five stars.
Really enjoyed this meal over the weekend. Waiter was friendly, helpful and recommended dishes. There were plenty of different condiments to try, the homemade chilli was exceptional (firey! not for the faint hearted). I tried the beef Pho, the broth was flavoursome with a generous portion of meat complimented with an optional sife of fresh herbs. The spring rolls were great for sharing. Big shout out to their Vietnamese coffee! Omg, it was aromatic, creamy and smooth. I loved that it came with it's own drip filter, I want to know their secret blend!
I would recommend Doux Chaton if you fancy a fresh, hearty, wholesome meal not to mention value for money. My belly was left very full and happy. Thanks for the great service.

One of the city's best places for Vietnamese food. The salt and pepper chicken wings and summer rolls were full of flavour and great value.
Lovely food, huge portions, great prices, great bubble tea, great fruit tea cocktails (2 for £10 2-6pm), lovely staff. Hygiene rating of 5, lovely decor, super cosy! Well worth a visit 🤗 FYI - Doux Chaton means Sweet Kitten, how's cute is that! ☺️

food was absolutely amazing! 🥰 i love their pho a lot and their chillis are super spicy that i want more of them! their bubble tea is nice as well, i would give them a try again next time.
unfortunately, the place is quite small so it might be a bit uncomfortable for a larger group. it might also be difficult for wheelchairs to move around the place. 😅 i found the table to be on a smaller scale as well so i had to move the condiments away for more space haha especially because the pho comes with a plate of bean sprouts, mint etc. the atmosphere is cosy though! and i love the cats on the menu, super cute.
Almost as good as my in-laws 😂 love 😍 the ban cuon it's been years since I last had any as nowhere does them in Liverpool! The pho is amazing too and I've tried quite a few. Definitely recommend this place the staff are great too, coping well when they're short staffed and busy isn't easy.
