My husband and I visited your restaurant for a quick lunch and ordered two pizzas. We also ordered a portion of coleslaw, which when it arrived was the equivalent of two soup spoons of product and was charged at £5.50 !!!!
This is such a con. It could not have cost anything more than 25p to make. Absolutely shocking … come on Pizza Express!!!

As an ex pizza chef I am always so wary of pizza joints, esp chain restaurants but I had various vouchers and was over at the shops with my mum so thought ack why not ….we were not disappointed!
From the moment we walked in, and asked for a quiet table away from others, we were given excellent service in that we were lead to a table furthest away from people but still in the area that was ‘open’. The girl serving us was so polite and kind about the situation and had a lovely smile.
We had to ask about using the vouchers and the girl explained how to use them and how the app/ordering worked - again very helpful & with a smile.
Time to order - the girl again assisted and encouraged us to get our moneys worth again helpful & smiley
Food: pizza was banging!!! Slightly shy with the toppings but tasty all the same. The side salad was simple but effective. (We forgot pics) Then we got my free birthday treat! OMG! I’m not really a dessert person but this thing was just delightful - some kind of lemon & white chocolate roulade 👌🏼 What a love way to finish off!
Drinks were expensive, food would have been too if it wasn’t for the vouchers and tbh I probably wouldn’t pay full price purely because it is so overpriced but that’s obviously how/why they do the discount vouchers and you are allowed to use more than one at a time!
Overall it was a lovely meal - the girl serving was really nice, the food was decent and it was a good price - with vouchers!!
(Dropped a star cos without vouchers it is seriously overpriced!)

The staff here are outstanding, we came in at a very busy time, every table was full but no one was waiting on anything like you would expect at such a busy time, they were working fantastically together to make sure every customer had what they needed. Very friendly, good food.

Good food and nice atmosphere. However, I was disappointed with the Ceasar salad, the dressing did not taste great and it had a boiled egg.

Great experience here whilst also trying to entertain 3 kids under the age of 10. They offer a brilliant deal for kids which is 3 courses and a drink for just under £8 which is brilliant in these days when everything seems to be going up and up. Waiters were fantastic from the minute we walked in and as we were dining with a child who has food allergies, took every care to ensure they had the right food and that everything was kept separate. Everyone loved their food (big kids included) and would highly recommend to others.

Very hard to find a better pizzeria, especially with options for gluten free. On this occasion the staff were very helpful even though they were clearly under staffed.

My fiancée and I had a pizza and starter here a while ago and we’re served by the Turkish chap I think his name was Mehmet . We were chatting away. He was so kind and it was his customer service that was amazing . Very rarely do you meet someone so genuine. He is a credit to the company ! 5 star guy.

Young lady taking our order very nice and talkative however my pizza was quite disappointing a bit dry and could have had a bit more cheese on I always have the same pizza when I go but have to say this was not the usual std.

Terrific lunch out with the wife. I had the Calzone 'Nduja and it was amazing. Nice kick of spice to it and a good sized portion. Would highly recommend.

I went to pizza express last night with my daughter for a pizza. We are both Vegan and I am coeliac so I ordered a gluten free pizza.
Our pizza's were not cooked properly. I called the waitress over and told her so she took my pizza away and gave it to the chef and he put it back in the oven to re cook it. She returned again after 10 minutes with the same pizza. I tried it again and it was still not cooked although the olives and vegetables on top were now over cooked and did not look very appetising to say the least. I called her over again of which I could see by her face she was not happy. I said this pizza is still not cooked properly and pushed my fork into it Ito show her, so she took it away again and said that she would get a new one put on. She returned back at the table with the same pizza which was now burned round the outside and the rest of it was still the same soft dough and by this time the olives were shrivelled up and the vegetables looked cremated. I called the waitress over again and she sent the manager over who apologised, I said to him that it was not good to keep heating food up 3 times over and to take this off the bill. I left without dinner and had to go home and cook something myself. I feel these fast food restaurants don't seem to take it seriously that care has to be given at all times when serving people who have serious allergies and not only that but they should understand that any kind of food should not be reheated over and over again and presented back at the table as if it were a normal reoccurrence and acceptable behaviour. When I returned home I had a sore stomach from having eaten a small part of the pizza. I certainly would not recommend this establishment to anyone who has a gluten allergy.

Was here recently with family and won't be returning anytime soon....the pizza's are fine but if you order lasagne you are in for a complete shock.....the dish gives the impression it's a large portion but it's not.....what i was served up was exactly this: three sheets of pasta and in between each one was at best two table spoons of mince...bechamal sauce...and very scarce at that...now what they did to make it look like a large portion was to smother the outside othe actual pasta sheets with a tomato based sauce, take away this and your left with a complete rip off and your being charged about £12 or £13 for something that cost less £1.50 to put together.
Absolutely disgusting when you see the size of dish they serve it in and what you actually get.
Pizza Express take a look at this please because what you are serving up to your customers with this dish is nothing short of scandalous.

Do go to pizza 🍕 express quite often when I’m at Livingston shopping although I do feel the prices are slipping up for what you get !! The staff are always very friendly and efficient so would give them 5* the food always tastes great so another 5* .... just feel it’s a wee bit overpriced or even if they would do a lunchtime menu that would be better value hence the 3* review ...
the staff always ask if I’ve ever any vouchers or promotions (which I never do) so even if they rewarded you with money off every so often for loyal customers 😁

Ordered gluten free dough balls and gluten free pizza. Managed to get dough balls but not pizza, lucky I noticed. Then long wait watching family eat while a new pizza made.
Partner ordered olives on her pizza but they didn’t turn up either, she asked and was told they would pop a bowl of olives over! No apology

Haven’t been for sometime. Had rigatoni bolignaise which was Luke warm, sent back, the same dish heated up.....not good. Lasagne good & choc cake very nice. But, overall food average. Best thing was lovely staff.

Had a great meal with my family a birthday meal for my 12 year old grandson. We had a very attentive waiter who served our starters and mains, then apparently he went on his break that's when things started to go wrong. We sat with empty plates for ages finally a waitress offered to clear away, then after another wait offered sweet menus but didn't come back to take our order! We'd to ask to have our order taken , finally our original waiter came back on duty served our deserts and coffees, it spoiled an otherwise good day!

Food was lovelyand surpassed my expectations but the bill came to £88 for 2 adults and 2 kids who were eating off the set kids menu. Seems expensive considering it was just pizza, wont complain about paying £20-£30 to dominoes or pizza hut again........

Ive always liked pizza express been going there since they opened but as latley i find they are becoming expensive and the food is not value for the money they are charging i am becoming less into pizza express as the other resturants are better value .

Ordered two lasagnes and two garlic breads . They arrived and were very tasty albeit very small portions . We were only drinking water yet bill was £32.... extortionate in my opinion!

Hugh (dad) took me here for my birthday lunch and I had two sips of my koopaberg mixed berry cider, and my chair collapsed from under me !!, the manager came over and apologized for what had happened and told me that he would take care of payment for lunch so in the end my birthday lunch was free lol
