Cosy and v friendly pub perfect for late (2:50pm) Sunday refuelling after visiting the nearby castle. Butty Bach on tap, a proper pie with a base (NB no Sunday roast), F1 on screens, welcoming landlady. Nice.
Really pleased to have found this pub after a walk around the castle. Beautiful location, with views of the castle. Food was fresh local and fantastic the owners were very welcoming. Lovely relaxed beer garden.
Dog friendly pub which is ideal if you've been out and about exploring around the castle etc. The pub grub on the better end of the spectrum and pretty decent desserts too. Sports channels on in the back room and a pool table. Nice place, nice character.
Myself & my family love popping in to this lovely pub with friendly staff and a warm welcome. My Children love to sit outside and enjoy seeing the family dogs in their run outside!
