Have travelled N & S Wales and it’s so hard to find good, proper food without chips. And then….Bingo! We had 2 roast chicken dinners on a Wednesday (!) for £7.95 each at this absolutely brilliant find. Real food, piping hot, friendly very very reasonable prices.

Two lost tourists Popped in for coffee, but stayed for lunch. We were both extremely pleased with the food. Good quality, homemade, wholesome food, served with a smile and a chat if you want one, and at a very reasonable price. It's good to know these types of cafe's still exist. Many thanks for the effort you made on a cold, wet Tuesday.

Last minute stop in llandrinndod and this place is a gem of a find.
Took me back to proper cafes of my child hood and food and service was brilliant.

Sitting here, having just had the most wonderful lunch. Cod in crispy batter + chips + salad, for me + my friend had home cooked ham + egg + chips - she said the ham was excellent (can vouch for that 😄) + egg was so clean + perfectly cooked. Staff couldn't be more helpful or accomodating (my friend uses a wheelchair). Thank you 😊

Absolutely love the breakfasts here, served all day. Hot and freshly cooked and never too greasy. Tea is included in the price and it is wonderfully affordable. Brilliant homemade cakes too. :-)
