It really is a great little spot if you want to find an old school venue for pub grub. Pool table and a gambling machine give it proper pub vibes.

Very welcoming indeed locals and staff. Whilst on our hols popped in as it was the local pub to where we were staying. Hoping to get food one evening but we'd missed their food hours so the bar man was very helpful by recommending another pub to us aswell as ringing through to see if they still had
Fab Sunday lunch, big portions...loved that they did 5 veg and all cooked perfectly, no soggy veg, thick gravy too...yummy, couldn't fit a pudding in

Had lovely beef roast dinner here 22/10/2023. Plenty of meat and served with lots of different veg ..nice thick gravy....very reasonable price too ..

2nd night we've been in for drinks and basket meals. A very friendly pub with a welcoming atmosphere. Great value, great food, great service - highly recommended.

Lovely friendly pub and staff with great Friday music evening with locals playing instruments and singing, who also welcomed a fab husband and wife duo visiting from Yorkshire. Will definitely visit again👍
