The Stag

Food was fantastic apart from where the cavery is situated they have blocked off the corridor to set the cavery up so small area so we was knocking and elbowing other customers while other customers where queuing in your way for sauces this cavery would be much better put in the corner near the front of the building making that table of 4 somewhere else and have access better for customers to use the toilets that way you don't have to wait over half a hour to be called up for your food felt like your back in school being told when you can have your food but food was delicious when you do get it

We love this place, live locally so may be biased but it's a lovely pub, very welcoming and inclusive, they have great beer lovely food, warm welcome and they're dog friendly. Says they're the heart of the community and that's true, our boy, 2 year old and lively spaniel, even knows the words, pub, pint, Stag and when walking anywhere near the place, pulls to go in, now in my book, that's the greatest seal of approval a pub can get, when the dog knows how to drum up trade.
